Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs - Smugglers Bay!

Not that great !

I've been reading it to my three years old son and he recently wanted to keep it in the car so that he can read it during our long commute. We first bought Captain Flinn and the pirate dinosaurs, Missing treasure and the Magic Cutlass three stories-in-one book and he has developed a deep interest in dinosaurs since then. Since he loved that series which we bought when we lived in the UK, we didn't think too much to buy Smugglers Bay even though it had to be shipped from the UK (We now live in the US). It is about Captain Flinn (I imagine he is a pre-schooler) and the crew (his school friends) going on a school trip to Smugglers Bay where they meet the Pirate Dinosaurs again. This time ferocious Captain T-rex and the pirate crew (Triceratops, Diplodocus, Stegosaurus, Pterodactyl) make delicious pirate sausages with their big sausage machine. The story is very cute and exciting as it offers the pirate-dinosaur combination in a very nicely creative way. Needless to say, it includes lots of action.. I would recommend it to anyone who has little boys and even girls as my eighteen months old daughter loved the rhyme in the story too. Yo ho ho! Yo ho ho! Pirate Dinosaurs Go! Go! Go!

Our 3 year old son has all the other Captain Flinn stories; this was bought for his Christmas. We've read it several times in the last few days and I'd have to say of all the books this is my favourite as it gave me a laugh. My son is crazy for dinosaurs and loves all the stories. I highly recommend them.

More pirate pete. And his Dinosaurs.The children live these stories and I live reading them, very funny!

Our five year old Kindergartener requests all these pirate books by Giles Andreas to be read over and over. He never tires of listening to these stories.
