Replacement Archery Bowstring for Traditional Recurve Bows - Available in AMO Lengths from 44"-68" in 12, 14, 16 Strand - Made from Black Dacron B-55 Material

I’m really enjoying this string....sort of. Some how I got the wrong length. I swear I picked the right length....but I checked and I did order it wrong. It was the right length for my wife’s bow. So she gets to use it. Now I’m jealous. It’s got a great “feel” it’s not as abrasive on my fingers as my string. It fits my arrow knocks better than my string. Not sure how to describe “feeling “ but I like it a lot and will buy another for my bow....even though I don’t really need it.

I have been struggling to find a good string that last on my bow for a good price. The one that came with the bow was not great. The ones that were sold to me at my local box store were too short and didn’t last long. Another comparable price string I would order from Amazon of the same size would be two inches or more longer and I would have to twist it way to much to get it to size, plus I would have to repair as it would start to unravel on frequent use. This string is now my new favorite. It came the right size with only a few twist to get dialed in, it looks well made and it is by far the quietest string I have put on this bow. It came with a red strip that looks kinda cool so that was a bonus. As for how long it will hold up we will see but so far it feels like it is doing well.

I am a total newb when it comes to archery and had no idea how to order a replacement string, but luckily the details and purchasing instructions/suggestions are very clear (and the other customers who replied to my question were also very helpful) and the string was perfect! I actually liked it even better than the string that came with my bow (Pro Max 54" Takedown Recurve). I just had to exchange my bow because of a warped limb and they only had a 62" on hand so I am actually about to order another string for my new bow. This has already become my go-to!

I purchased this new string for my 45# Samic Sage. It matched the existing one that is getting a little worn out and has had the serving redone one time already. This string type has worked very well for the past four years and I expect the new one will do as well.

I bought this string for an old recurve bow, the draw weight of which I could only guess at, based on the overall length of the bow. It fits perfectly and seems to match the draw weight. It has a good serving and seems strong at the end. So far it's throwing arrows very well.

Just a plain, good old-school bow string for recurved bows. Not waxed so you can use whatever you have. Not pre-twisted so you can adjust as you desire. Serving is nice and tight but a bit "large" for my nocks.

Very nice bow string. Well constructed as described. The serving is prefect. My arrows snap in so nice. This was for a vintage 42# recurve. I will definitely buy more of these for the rest of my bows.

Bought this as a backup string for my new Samick Sage takedown bow. Not sure if it's the string or just because I'm having a fresh start with more experience with the string, but it just feels like it shoots better and is able to be tuned for bracing height more easily than my first string. Either way, my backup is now my primary :-)
