This toy is providing hours of entertainment in short bursts. One cat will start and, quite often, soon one is on one side and one is opposite, sitting or lying down, batting the balls around and around to one another.The six balls are bright and colorful. There is a protective bar across the top, which clearly was needed as that was the first place one cat tried to push his head. I have found the entire unit feet from where I left it and even occasionally upside down, so it is taking some spirited knock about in energetic play and without any damage whatsoever and none of the balls have been freed from the toy. YAY!I recommend it highly. Don't be discouraged if they initially play with it for about 30 seconds and waltz off - these did. I did spin it a bit myself, initially, to show them. That bought about another 10 seconds. But they consistently play with it, singularly and together, day and night, and for extended periods like 15- to 20-minute intervals, napping next to it.If you decide to try it, I hope your kitties will like it as much as these!

My cat is over two and is too large to know how to use this toy, but it is a great toy and I continue to show him how it works hopefully he will pickup how to play with it. Great toy for kittens or toddlers.Really an eye catcher for toddlers.

My cat is 8, and there aren’t many toys that he continually seeks out over YEARS! I even got my friends cats these as presents, and they all love it too. Mine will run from the opposite end of the room to hit it, then make it a zoomies game. He greats great exercise from it, but when he’s being a big lazy it keeps him preoccupied, or stimulated when he’s just looking for something to do
