Very pleased with the S-type!
Installed on a 2016 Ram 1500 slt with factory single exhaust. It took a little persuasion to get the factory exhaust off but once it's off, this Borla goes on very quickly and easily. It took a little over an hour start to finish, but most of that time was getting the stock exhaust off and then getting the tips on the Borla lined up just right. Took maybe 30 minutes to get the stock exhaust off, then maybe 15-20 to get the Borla bolted up, then probably another 15-20 to get the tips lined up just right. I did have a helping hand, while doing this install by yourself is certainly possible, it is much easier if you have an extra set of hands. This is the S-type Borla so it's not as loud as the Atak, which is probably what I would have got if it was available for my truck. However the sound improvement over stock is amazing and it is plenty loud enough. I am very pleased with the S-type and I am glad I decided on it because I do not think that the Touring model would have been loud enough for me. I see the S-type as the Goldiocks version of the Borla exhausts. Not as loud as the obnoxious Atak, but much louder than the tame Touring, the S-type is just right. Let me just add that I chose Borla because of the quality of the stainless steel they use. There are not many exhausts out there that use 304 stainless and being that I live in coastal Mississippi(salty air), I felt like that was the most important factor. If you look, you can find reviews on most of the other major brands rusting after anywhere from 6 months to 3 years and I just did not want to take the chance of having to deal with that so I felt like spending a little more on a Borla was the best option for me and so far I'm glad I did.

The only exhaust brand worth their dollar
Absolutely love it. There is no greater product than Borla. I did a lot of research before purchase and when your purchasing for a dodge ensure your getting the proper model for your truck. If you have the single exhaust version this is for you if you have dual through bumper it’s a different part number. I do all my own repairs on my vehicle and this is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I told my father in law I’d have it done in 45 min and he was skeptical but ate his words when he timed me at 31 min. The hardest and longest part was removing the old as it has been on there for 50k miles. With a little twisting and pulling it came free. The new system went on in approx 10 min with only a little help at the end to ensure the two pipes were level and even w each other. I didn’t use a jack or lift or anything but an impact ratchet strap ( to put tension on stock muffler to help wiggle it off) and the two sockets needed to loosen the bolts. The sound is one you can only get from borla and the performance gains are very noticeable. Slight boost in mpg but I struggle to keep my foot out of it lol. The sound is so pure and aggressive it turns heads everywhere. I’ll attach a photo and a vid of a warm start but my phone probably won’t do the sound justice. If your on the fence about the price I’ll tell you to jump. So worth it and as I said I’ve done my research and have heard other brands on this truck and nothing does the HEMI justice like Borla.

Read the manufacturer's website. Amazon may say this fits when it doesn't.
Read Borla's website. I have a crew cab short bed with bumper cutouts for dual exhaust. if you have the same, then you are looking for Borla PN 140307 not the 8. Lesson learned on my part to research more before spending a grand. I'll gladly bring the rating up when i receive the 140307 and am satisfied with it. This review isn't a hit on Borla or Amazon. I like both companies but this part doesn't fit my truck and amazon says it does. Site recommendation needs fixing or more info for consumers.Update: I can't review the 140308 properly, but the 140307 (which I spoke about above) is a fine system. I can only assume the 140308 works as well. The -07 went on easily, I installed it using a couple of ramps to lift the back end a bit. I didn't need a buddy to help as nothing was overly heavy. Sounds great, with a deep growl but not annoying to the neighbors.I'm upping the rating to 5 stars with the assumption that this P/N works just as well as the 140307 I have installed on my truck.
