Exactly What I Was Hoping For
This desk was definitely what I was looking for - in terms of construction, dimensions and quality. I noticed that it was knocked in some reviews because the reviewer(s) thought it wasn't sturdy enough. The first thing I have to point out is that it is advertised as a folding desk. It's not as unsteady as a folding card table but it can be folded. I don't plan to fold/unfold the desk much if at all because that could weaken it. When it is unfolded, it is steady enough for my monitor, two small speakers and an external hard drive. And it gives me much more surface area than my previous desk did. It would be less steady without the keyboard tray installed because the left and right sides fold towards the center but I don't plan to use the desk without the keyboard tray.My first impression of the desk was that it was easy to assemble. All it took was 4 wood screws (provided), a hex wrench (provided) and the pre-drilled holes for the screws. Next, I unfolded the left and right sides of the desk and slid the keyboard tray into the rails on the inner part of the left and right sides. Then, because I live in earthquake country, I anchored the desk to the wall with the brackets and strap provided with the desk. I used my drill for that. That's all the assembly that was required.I've been using the desk for several weeks now and love the materials used in making the desk. And I love the wide keyboard tray (spans the width of the desk). I was delighted to learn the tray locks into place when extended. I've had no problems or complaints about the desk so far. It will obviously take some time to know whether it's going to be a durable desk but I foresee no problems. So, the desk met and exceeded my expectations, considering the price. It meets my specific needs and, if your needs are similar to mine, I highly recommend this desk. If my experience changes later, I'll update this review.

Better Than Expected
I love my new computer desk! I wanted something inexpensive, easy to put together, and with a decent size keyboard tray. I know, that's a pretty tall order. (Most keyboard trays these days don't have room for a mouse ... craziness!) Well, this desk fits the bill. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is, but much to my surprise, it's actually very good. I don't want to mislead you; it's not like buying a piece of furniture in the furniture store. But it's not flimsy, and it looks nice. My son came over to help me put it together, figuring there would be more to it than they lead you to believe, but there was nothing to it. Also, he asked me to forward him the link so he can order one for himself and my daughter-in-law.We were concerned because there are a couple of comments that showed concern about the legs folding in if kicked by accident, but that's really not a concern. The keyboard tray goes totally across the length of the desk, so it's not possible for the legs to be kicked in because the keyboard tray would stop it.You can see in my photo, there's plenty of room for both my monitor and CPU (I have a 25" monitor). The only reason I don't have my CPU on the desk is because I have a large tower, and I've never had it on any of my desks because I don't like it taking up room on there. But, you can put your CPU on the desk if you want. It's strong enough and there's plenty of room for both. There's also plenty of room to put it under the desk without it being in the way of foot room.

Perfect for teardown office
Been working from home during the shelter-in-place the last few months off a card table. Decided to upgrade to something a little more solid and ergonomic.Pros:- Easy to assemble- Reasonably solid- Wide keyboard drawer- Solid wood, not MDF or particleboard- Looks niceCons- Finger-joined wood. That's when you combine small pieces of wood to form a longer board- Large box. On the heavy side for a smaller person to handle.Based on past reviews, I was concerned about build quality. The first desk I received had one of the finger-joints separated - Don't know if it came from the factory not glued, or the glue separated in transit. Returned to Amazon and replacement arrived in a few days with no defects. Screw holes lined up correctly. Legs opened to the correct location with no risk of keyboard tray falling out. No additional securing of the desktop needed - was concerned I might need to latch the desktop to the legs somehow based on past reviews.Folds up easily and slides under my bed for easy storage. Takes a little longer to set up than a card table, mainly due to the keyboard tray. Was concerned the desk might be too low since I'm very tall. If I were using an office chair, I'd likely want to put some furniture risers under the desk feet. But with the chair I'm using, it fits fine.Great product for the money. Docked one star due to the first desk having to be returned.Only concern / unknown at the moment is how durable it is, and how long it will last with daily takedown / setup. But the hinges all look solid. Given it's wood, should something give, hopefully I'll be able to fix it without too much trouble.
