Is the back of the desk finished or would it have to be against a wall?

It has a sturdy backboard that matches the finish of the desk, but I put mine against a wall anyway because you can tell the backboard is not hardwood. Once assembled, it is a very nice piece of furniture.

The keyboard drawer doesn't slide out enough to see the power strip as shown on the picture. Anyone knows how to fix that? Thanks.

Did anyone else have a problem with the keyboard tray sliding back? If so, did you solve it and how?

I did have the same problem with drawer. I am not a fan of the the design at all. However, I do Not use it for the keyboard, but still don't care for how it closes almost resisting the opening of it. It is a part time desk for me holding nothing but pens and such in drawer. Sorry I was unable to help but would too be interested in a resolution to the problem. After having to assemble who and how would you return if this was a big issue for some?
