Good information. Wish the pictures were located with the description....they are at the end of the book but they are easy to find.

I liked the book. It was easy to understand and small enough to put in my purse when I go to the grocery store. Around here, we normally don't have butchers to ask about meat products so it's nice to have a reference when buying a particular cut of meat.

This book is everything You ever needed to know about meat. It has all types Of meat. How to pick what kind of meat you need for what your plans are. It's vynil book cover and all it's pages makes it nice in the kitchen. I really like the fact that it easily wipes clean after something spills on it. Great price with Great information !!! I Love my book. Mine came in the mail just before I was going to put in a cutting order for my cow and hog to my butcher.butcher.

Although there is a lot of good information in this book when I saw this on the Rachael Ray Show I believe it was they actually had pictures of things to look for while there's very few pictures in this book there are some but not near what I expected it was going to be. I'm a little disappointed due to the fact that as I said on the show they were actually showing you what to look for and when you're reading it it's just not the same as actually seeing it.

I bought this book for my husband. He said there was good information in it, but the cuts relate to American cuts of meat. I didn't know there was a difference, but apparently there is. That's why I didn't give it five stars.

Good but would be more useful to Canadians with an edit with our names for the different cuts and grades.
