How long has this speaker lasted overall i want to buy this for my partner?

If you're asking about the battery life and play time, it lasts a long time. I've never played it continuously from full to empty but with frequent use of a few hours at a time it lasts for days. I have 2 so I can link them together and play them in stereo. Sounds great just with one too. Highly recommended.
