These curry sauce pack a lot of favour and bring a taste of India to your kitchen
The media could not be loaded. I've been very impressed with these Achari curry sauces. It is absolutely delicious providing a good level of sweet, sour and spicy flavours, if you love your curries to be more on the tangy side this is the perfect sauce for you. I managed to make a delicious chicken and vegetable curry with only just one jar to feed a family of 6 and just using water to increase the volume of the gravy. The variety pack provides 3 heat variation being mild, medium and hot. In my opinion they are rated accurately. What I love about this sauce is that it isn't too oily, so it's perfect for those who are health conscious or those who don't like their curries to be so greasy. It has a decent shelf life so you can store these in the cupboard for special occasions or if you want to cook something quickly. My batch had a best before of 09/2022.Overall, this is a great delicious curry sauce. It provides great flavour and spice level depending on what you like, it's not too greasy and it's definitely a curry sauce everyone can enjoy. I would highly recommend.

Wouldn't be a regular choice
I use this sort of sauce on cold meat/poultry in sandwiches. I usually use Amba or Scotch Amba Sauce, and this one is new to me. It's a good idea to have three varieties of 'hot'. although the difference is not as great as I'd expected - the main thing that distinguishes the 'hot' version is the aftertaste in the back of the throat, but there's no discomfort. The flavour is very severe, with little sweetness, and the texture rather gritty, so it doesn't spread as easily as Amba; also, it masks the taste of the meat rather than complementing it, which, to me, is not the function of a sauce. I'll use it occasionally, for variety, but it will never be a favourite.

Too spicy.
Even in its weakest form, this was too spicy and of a monoflavour which just killed the chicken with which it was accompanied.

Watery but great flavour and ingredients
These are really impressive sauces - the flavour is great and I’m amazed that they’ve been created for a low fodmap diet without the use of onions or garlic. If you like your curry hot, the hot jars are really good. I was curious what the ingredients were and while they were very much whole unprocessed foods, I felt they were a little vague - I’d be interested to know what ‘spice mix’ is. Overall, really good in terms of flavour and ingredients but quite watery. The curry sauce left a pool of water on my plate.

Tasty but hot
The ingredients are the same for all three heat levels so who knows what secrets they hold.Tried the mild sauce, which tasted very nice but was slightly spicier than my family wanted.. I'll need to make myself some dishes just for me with the hotter sauces, or mix them with cream/coconut milk to calm the spices.

A pleasant surprise – a curry that I really like
I’ve not heard of Achari curry before. So I was curious as to how it tasted. I would say it’s similar to Rogan Josh – in that it uses a lot of tomatoes. But I’m no expert. I normally have Korma from the supermarkets, but with Achari – I think I’ve found a style that I really like. It’s got such an aromatic smell/taste – I simply like heaping more of it into the pot.I made a Brisket in the slow cooker; for 8 hours; with vegetables. I decided to add the Level 4-heat jar into the mixture. I did so after tasting the jar’s content first. When I decided I really like it – I poured some more in. It’s was just fantastic; utterly delicious! Once more – all the ingredients say - all natural. This is a great finding.Downside: the Level 4-heat offering is what I would be used to in terms of spiciness. The Mild and Medium – are none-descript in terms of heat. Perhaps they should bring out a Level 5 Vindaloo-version.I can 100% Recommend. I will be buying these when there is a curry fest.

6 jars of great curry sauce...
This box contains 6 jars of Curry Sauce ideal for making delicious main courses. You get 2 of the mild; 2 of the medium and 2 of the hot variety. The number of chilli’s shown on the front label gives an idea of the spicy hot nature of the sauce. We do enjoy mild curry dishes best and so the mild and medium are our favourites. The hot sauce is hotter than the medium but not too hot so still lovely. So far I’ve made a lamb dish; a chicken dish and a pork dish. I also will use this with vegetable and non-meat recipes. The jars each contain 350g of sauce which makes 4 portions when added to the other ingredients. The pricing of the product is very reasonable. These are ideal to have in the cupboard because you can make a nourishing with these and the product has a long shelf life.

Didn't expect such large jars!
We added the medium to a curry my husband had made. It was quite hot (dread to think how hot the hot will be) but it was very tasty. It smells gorgeous. Very nice product and generous portions.
