I've been using Boveda packs in various sizes for the better part of a decade. My humidor requires three of these packs and I have a calibrated Zigbee Hygrometer (Also calibrated with Boveda's excellent calibration pack) in the humidor at all times. Humidity (Or a lack thereof) isn't really a problem in the UAE during the warmer months, but this pack works as expected and can lower or raise the humidity level inside the humidor depending on the situation. I can see through historical readings from my hygrometer that humidity levels are kept stable within a strict variance of +1/-1 % of the stated range. I noticed that this can take a bit longer to happen if I chuck a load of slightly dried out cigars, but it gets there in the end.These packs usually last me between 8 months to just over a year with no problems at all. No mess, just dispose of the old ones and get the news ones in for continued preservation of your cigars.
