I. Hoping this pump last longer than other brands I’ve used. I use these exclusively in saltwater but I do flush with fresh water evertime. My issue is with the pvc aerator. It is already glued together so you have to cut it to adjust the height to fit in your cooler. Worse yet is the pvc elbow does not fit the pump, it’s very loose and the give you a tube of glue to make it stay put. So once you glue it the hole unit cannot be taken apart. Very half assed design. I’m only keeping it in hopes the pump will last the entire season. Even if it does I doubt I’d buy another one of these.

This is the second I've bought in a year. Didn't use last years purchase until end of june 2023. Bait was dead at 2 am when i found it not running. Didn't put a 2 amp fuse in so i took the blame. Bought another in July. Put fuse in positive line. Again it quit working 1st time i used it.Buy a different brand. My last one i had for 15 to 20 years. Ran for days with no problem. Will look for that one. Juat know its blue and red.Thanks Ron

I did not like that the aerator PVC tube or shaft is an odd size. hard to find something to use to cut it to the needed length and have an adapter to connect them back up......why use an odd size? 1/2 inch was too big. Or why not leave one end unglued so it can be cut to size and then one end piece glued to fit the height of the live well....I made it work cause I do not give up...but had to go to multiple stores to find a solution. Make it easier next time.

Keeps fish and bait alive for hours. Only gave it a 4 star because the pipe cannot be cut down to a shorter size as stated in description.
