Too tight for Kawasaki KVF / Prairie 300
The belt itself seems to be well made however it is wider and tighter than the original OEM belt. After replacing my original belt with this Gates belt, my ATV would lurch when in gear and the belt would produce a very loud squeal. I decided to follow the procedure for break-in hoping the noise would go away but after ride around 200km with the belt there was no difference in the noise so I gave up and bought a OEM belt from the Kawasaki dealer and it solved the squealing issue.Please keep this in my if you are ordering for a KVF300 / Prairie 300 as you are probably better off with the OEM belt.
