Not bad for the price
The media could not be loaded. I'm gonna be upfront with you, this is not the best possible picture you can get out of a Dreamcast. It may not even be the best option in the sub-$50 price bracket. But it's good, certainly acceptable. I picked it up for $15.99 plus tax and for that I can get a reasonable quality picture out to HDMI for easier capturing. Certainly better than the quality I was getting with the cheap AV2HDMI converters. Being able to flip from 4:3 to 16:9 is a useful option to have, the circular form factor is a bit novel, the only downside is the power supply. It complicates the physical setup a tiny bit but it's not a deal breaker. I think I've only seen one Dreamcast to HDMI adapter that doesn't require external power and that cable was twice the price. The manual says it may run warm but in the hour I used mine it never went above lukewarm.This won't improve your picture quality most likely, but it will make your Dreamcast play nicely with modern input devices. And without spending ~$150 on an OSSC and a SCART cable or a DCHDMI card that's good enough for me.

Almost perfect, except for the audio bug
Between uses you have to flick the display resolution switch back and forward to get audio back, fine if you're using it at a desk but it's no good for keeping it in your entertainment center. Otherwise the picture quality is great in 4:3 mode, it's incredibly accurate and plenty bright, if it wasn't for the audio issue it'd be a 5 star product.

Meets expectations but has minor flaw.
Overall it works great. Expands the screen to actually fit newer tv’s. However, rarely, I’ll have to flip the switch on the device back and forth once to get sound to work. No biggie but can be frustrating. Would buy again though.
