HJCC91 Solid Natural Motorcycle Helmet, DOT Approved (Semi Flat Titanium, X-Large)

Returned it cos I'm not 100% committed to Modular yet. The C91 meets my needs for lower price. I also have a full face helmet that I wear. The biggest thing about HJC helmets is the sizing. They seem to run small but there's a significant break in period. I wear a Large. The I90 in Large was snug but broke in comfortably. This C91 in Large is very tight and even more so after you install a comm. Still breaking in but it's getting there after a week, 2 rides and wearing around the house. Regarding installing a comm: I installed a Cardo Spirit. It was too tight on my ears using the velcro speaker mounts. They add unnecessary thickness. i took them out and have the speakers just sitting in the cavities. The helmet cheek pads keep them in just fine without the velcro.Photos show weight of helmet with and without Cardo, Brake Free.Original weight without anything is 3.1 lbs. Weight with only the mounting brackets for Cardo and Brake Free is 3.14.Weight with full gear is 4.17.

I purchased this helmet in XL. I have a 3/4 HJC helmet in size XL, it fits well - maybe just a little large. I thought ordering this one in the same size was a no-brainer. I was wrong. This helmet in XL is much smaller. Small enough that the check pads flex the jaw pieces to the point that I can’t close the chin bar without two hands and significant effort. I sent it back and ordered a XXL.As a side note, Nardo Grey is almost a perfect color match to my ‘21 Honda Goldwing!

Sizes run way small. I wear a medium in almost everything. I measured my head and bought a large as recommended. I still had to exchange it for an XL. Other than that it’s a great helmet.

Reasonable priced motorcycle helmet, comfortable, neat design, looks good too!

Saved my life in a recent crash!

I ordered a large but it was too small it was extremely tight around the cheeks so definitely order a size larger.

My last HJC helmet was size medium and I seen complaints about this helmet being smaller than the stated measurements. That being said I ordered a large and it's smaller than my medium. If a size large feels like it's a size small I'm thinking I should have got an XL or maybe even XXL. Buyer beware.

My normal hat size is large. So many reviews of helmets mentioned tight fit, so I ordered 2 sizes larger. Probably should have gone 3 or 4 sizes larger. Great helmet. Nice noise reduction, and good fit and finish. My daughter says it fits great!!! Now I have to get one for myself. I will try one on prior to purchase.

I have a hard time finding helmets and this one fits pretty good. Only issue was it was very tight on my cheeks and front part of my jaw. Once I remove that portion of the lining it fit a lot better.
