Easy to make chai with good flavor
In an effort to cut down monthly expenses, I have been trying to find a good chai I can make at home (as opposed to buying from a cafe). I like the ease of using this. You just mix with hot water and then I add a splash of milk. The flavor is really good and has nice spice, although is maybe a tad sweeter than I like. My favorite is the cardamom and the masala is a close second. The saffron flavor is just weird- not a good spice to add to chai tea. I'll buy the individual flavor box next time. I also wish the serving size was bigger. The packet makes an 8 oz cup and I like a big cup of tea so I've been using a packet and a half and that amount also works if using my travel mug. The bummer is you go through the box quicker, but still cheaper then buying a 4 or 5 dollar chai daily!

Not as Good as I Remember
When I first tried this about 5 years ago, all the reviews were from people who'd found it in American Indian/Asian grocery stores who raved about the flavor. Looks like they've expanded their market and sell to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops now and I guess that authentic HOT Massala chai didn't go over with a wider American audience, who are used to that laid-back Oregan Chai taste you get a most coffee shops -- because most American coffee shops literally just heat up a cup of Oregan Chai and charge you six bucks for it. The Massala was my favorite and I remember it having that spicy, intricate, super unique "really good Indian cuisine" sort of flavor. Now it has the same bland milky flavor most American chai has with just a little heat underneath it that's mostly in the aftertaste. I remember the Massala being more of a red color, but it just looks like milky sugar water now. Could be remembering wrong, but pretty sure they've changed it. Guess I'll be trying some of these loose teas that are all the rage now.

Excellent chai, but too milky-tasting for me.
On paper this chai is great: made with very few ingredients, all natural-sounding: milk, sugar, tea, and spices. None of the usual additives found in most chai powders, such as creamer, anti-caking agents, guar gum etc. On top of it, the flavors are interesting and unusual, and the package design is so tasteful. The only issue for me is that the taste of this chai is a little too milky for me. I don't think this is a problem, as most people like milk, but I hate the taste of milk and so it gets in the way for me. Other than that, I could tell this is a superior chai: the right balance of spices, sugar, and tea; very natural taste and mouthfeel; and very nice aroma. I tried it in Masala, Saffron and Cardamom and liked them all (other than the milky taste), but the Masala was the most assertive and spicy.

In individual Packets.
Like all Jaipur Ave teas, the flavour is excellent, the value for the money is good and they provide a very good pick-me-up any time, but especially good to relax at night (or to get your day started) I have tried all their flavours and would reccommend every one.

Great, Convenient Chai
I bought the multi-pack for work since measuring and mixing Trader Joe's chai tea latte mix can be a hassle when I'm in a hurry. These chai tea packets meet my needs perfectly. They blend easily and quickly for a quick pick-me-up in the middle of the day. I really enjoy the cardamom and masala flavors, but I dislike the saffron. I think it's because I have not been able to transfer my love of savory saffron dishes to this sweet rendition. That said, there are one thing that would make this product even better: include all of the flavors Jaipur Avenue offers. That way, I only have 3 packets of a flavor I dislike, and my curiosity about the vanilla and ginger flavors will be sated. I will probably order them once I finish off this box, but I would like to have more confidence ordering them since I will have 15 packets of one flavor to contend with.

Wow delicious!
I love this! This powder chai tastes just like real indian chai, I love it! Great balance of spices and the flavors were all yummy. Very creamy too. :) These use milk powder, not creamer, which makes for a very rich and creamy tea. Each packet makes a perfect cup of chai in minutes. I love these tea mixes! I have found THE chai mix for me. I just wish there was a way to buy bulk or the powder in a can!The masala is classic and the spiciest of the bunch. My favorite! The cardamom and saffron are less spicy and seem more savory. Saffron is the lightest and seems the least spicy. It kind of has that hospital-y smell that saffron has. They are all earthier and more flavorful than the chai that is available from coffeeshops or all-inclusive chai tea bags. If you are looking for a fast way to makea cup of authentic chai, try these! If you like chai from a place like starbucks but are looking for something different, pure, and flavorful, try these!

Great way to try an assortment
Hi, my name is Chai-a-Holic. I tried my first sip 15 years ago in college and I've been in love ever since. I've tried so many different kinds, pretty much any bagged, powdered or concentrate out there (and a few loose leaf varieties too). Jaipur Avenue's chais are the best.I'm a fan girl of Jaipur Avenue Chai. I've tried quite a few different varieties and there hasn't been a "bad" one in the bunch. Cardamom is my favorite, Masala is close behind, then Ginger (not included in this pack), and the Saffron. Saffron is a step away from more "typical" chais, but it still is a lovely cuppa. This tea is made with real powdered milk, not with coffee-mate-ish non-dairy creamer like most. So it's creamy, even made with water. I like it with a dollop of heavy cream for that really amazing mouth-feel, but it's not necessary. You can't go wrong with this pack. It's a chai lover's dream.

A Great Variety Pack of Chai Teas
This is a wonderful variety of Chai Teas. My favorite is still the Masala but I also enjoy the other flavors too. I usually drink it hot but don't mind it once it cools off either, should it last that long! I may try it prepared cold once the weather warms up.I've shared it with my family and hooked one or two of them. The only concern is the calories, fat, and salt, so I don't drink it really frequently. Compared to many drinks, it isn't terrible in these categories and is worth the splurge once in awhile!I'd like to try the other flavors in the future but recommend this pack to introduce you to the deliciousness. I think it's a reasonable price too!
