Norman Reedus: True Tales of The Walking Dead?s Zombie Hunter: An Unauthorized Biography

I adore this man so much and really am enjoying this book. It's not a very thick book but it's full of his life and how he got to where he is today. It's very interesting and well written. I'm amazed what a wonderful man Norman turned out to be with such a rough life in childhood. It's well worth buying it and reading it. You won't be able to put it down, unless someone is asking you when you're going to cook dinner? Ha. Ha. Great book!

I thought it was a great insight to what makes Mr. Reedus performances so real and intense.

It is definetely unauthorized and is basically just a collection of snippets from various interviews spanning several years padded with speculation on the authors parts.Many website sources, when googled, come up with a scam alert or are simply not found.And despite many spelling errors throughout the book, various sites aren't even spelled correctly ex. Tumblur instead of Tumblr.The author also confuses actor with character stating "the relationship between Norman and Carol..." when TWD is discussed.Normans cat "Eye in the Dark" is named "Eyes in the Dark". While it seems like a small mistake, any fan worth their salt would be able to pick up on the mistakes in the book and myself, as a long time fan of Norman, already knew all of which the author tells. Except for one interview with a former boss of Norman's, the rest of his information comes from interviews and various things Norman has said over the years.The author mentions "cutting and pasting" info early on in the book, and that is what he did with this.My guess is the author wants to strike while the iron is hot and capitalize on Norman's popularity.Frankly, if you're a fan, don't bother with this, as you probably know everything in the book already, if not more.

I don't agree that this book was well-written. Missing punctuation and awkward wording irked me many times throughout the book. You could literally make a drinking game out of how many times the author wrote the word 'literally' inappropriately. For example: "He was literally in hog's heaven." Really? He was literally with pigs and in heaven? This is New York times bestselling writing? Gimme a break! My fifth grade teacher taught me not to reuse the same word ad-nauseum throughout a piece of writing, and incorrectly at that!As for the content, if you've spent any time watching youtube videos and reading interviews as a Norman fan, then there's nothing new to learn in this book. Lots of speculation and conjecture though (no evidence of Norma being homeless and lots of talk about what his relationship with his son was probably like.)

I enjoyed the book but a lot of the information I knew already from various interviews. It was also a smaller book than I was expecting but it was a good read.

Interesting point of view, but there were times it seemed like the writer was saying Mr Reedus was not being truthful with people

Don’t bother reading this book! It is supposed to be a detailed look at Norman Reedus’s life. In actual fact it is just a collection of snippets of old interviews and a badly put together filmography. It promised details from people who knew him “way back when” and their revealing stories but they are just tediously churned out with nothing of great interest. This book is badly written with grammatical and spelling errors and tells you nothing that you couldn’t find out yourself by doing a quick online search. I was looking forward to reading this book but was thoroughly disappointed. Not the best use of £10!

Great read about Reedus. Would recommend to Norman/Daryl fans.
