Yes, minced garlic is available from several brands. But, if you have a taste for it, try blending your own concoction. Use an old shaker container and find your ideal mix of minced onion, minced garlic, garlic powder, and garlic salt. You can send mashed potatoes to the next level. And a sprinkling on toasted and buttered Italian or French bread makes a great pasta companion.

What is the substitution rate? One cup of minced onions for one cup of fresh onions?

I only ever eyeball it. But the rate should be much lower 1/2 to 3/4 cup since the onions are dried . If you want to be sure, just take 1/2 a cup of minced onions and re-hydrate them to see how close to a cup you'll get.

Why is there no ingredient label ?

I don't know; however, I returned the ones sent to me because there was not a freshness seal on any of the containers.

Are happy belly products organic?

I doubt it. If they were organic, they'd say so. You might want to look at Simply Organic brand products sold here on Amazon -- they're priced well and are certified organic.
