I had one of these blankets before and loved it. It is soft, lightweight but yet warm. I got this one for my son, will order another.

I have been searching for this style of blankets forever. They are the open weave style my grandmother always loved. My original blankets had gotten so worn they were no longer able to be used. This style is perfect for all seasons, no joke! They are soft lightweight and provide the perfect warmth.

Why is it so hard to find a breathable blanket with a real open weave not a faux one? It seemed like I searched forever both in stores and online before I found this perfect blanket. I kept finding a closed waffle weave which is not the same thing. An open weave where you can literally see holes in the blanket allows just enough body temperature to escape, keeping the perfect temperature under the blanket without it getting too hot forcing you to stick your foot out to cool down. I like to use this type of blanket as an extra layer in the winter and by itself in the summer. Been using this particular blanket for a while and very pleased with the temperature.

I'll be straight up with you, this isn't the softest, or the lightest blanket out there. BUT!!! if you're a furnace in the bed like I am and just a sheet isn't enough for you but a regular blanket turns the temp of the bed into something slightly hotter than the surface of the sun, these blankets are PERFECT!!!! They retain JUST enough heat that your thunder thigh, blast furnace body heat can dissipate to a much more comfortable temperature. I use a regular sheet for the soft silky feeling and this blanket for the otherworldly perfect temperature regulation. If you're a hot sleeper, I'm not just suggesting you get one of these. I'm telling you to.

An inferior product. Poorly made. Light and thin like an old dishcloth. When I compare it to a similar product which is 30 YEARS OLD and well used and washed its thinner, lighter and basically cheap. Pretty disappointed.
