Stuck-Up Suit Review: Humor, Angst, Lust -- that's all this girl needs. - Edited now that the alcohol is out of my system: I was surprised at how much I loved this book. It was a lot different what I was expecting, and pleasantly so. More than likely, you've read the storyline in the other reviews by now, so I won't recap. Below are points of what I liked and didn't like. And my take on some of those issues people have mentioned. 1. He's yet another uber-rich, amazingly gorgeous playboy - I'm almost tired of these guys, so many of them have been written the exact same way. But i love the way he and the heroine meet, and how they begin their flirtation. She's witty, but he has some great comebacks that draw her and the readers in. I fell in love with the guy, and can see why the heroine was intrigued. Seeing their relationship progress was fun, and I especially loved the bits of maturity he showed, ie. calling her to get to the bottom of an issue she was having instead of texting about it when she was being evasive. 2. Yet another quirky tatted heroine - but this time I liked our heroine. She seemed a lot more grounded in life. She had her own baggage, which was understandable and well written about, she didn't have a job that seemed to outpace her education level, she was able to live on her own and do her own thing. Normal other than a few tats and stuff. I also loved the fact that her friends and her had more normal conversations; it seems more and more often that writers are giving heroines a best friend who talks about nothing other than their vag's or v-cards or what have you. Book after book after book, that's what so many of the women's friends deal with...but not here. They were good decent people, quirky in their ways, but all very real. I also loved the fact that once the heroine made up her mind about the hero, that she was open and honest. *spoilers* 3. The twist in the middle -- wow was there a plot twist. I've read a few reviews where the readers did NOT like the way the hero dealt with the ex and the newly discovered information. For me I thought it was brilliantly done. This guy is trying to be a good guy and keep things peaceful -- he knows that setting a base will help to keep things smooth as time moves on. I guess some people might want him to fight more, or be more of a harda$$, but the way this was handled seemed a lot more realistic and true to life. The heroine's reaction to the news was every bit as confusing as real life would have been. And her choice made sense, no matter how much it hurt. I really love it when adults act like adults, and are willing to put whats more important ever their own hearts or desires. When the heroine finally sees that a workable solution CAN be done successfully, you can tell that she turns the corner on the whole issue and comes to a better place and understanding. I think the hero had that solution planned all along, he just couldn't deal with it at the time with everything else going on. I really loved the ending when they both come to their realizations of what has happened; his grand effort is heartwarming and sexy, and her acceptance is a breath of fresh air after all the turmoil she's gone through. Overall, the writing was great. These two had sparks flying, and had some hot times. The sex was not every other page, we actually had only a few rare glimpses into their sex life, but what we saw was good. Both leads have a good sense of humor, and you can tell there is true concern in them for each other. I really loved this book, read it again the very next day it was that good. And I'll read it again soon in another day or two. A definite 5-stars for me. Review: Humor, Passion, Drama? This one has it all! - 4.5 stars This book starts with Soraya, riding the train to work and taking note of all the usual crazy suspects on said train. Then she sees him, the cocky business man yelling at people on the phone. She is instantly drawn to him and when he leaves his phone on the train by accident, Soraya sees this as the perfect opportunity to make contact with him again. But when she goes to his office to return the phone, his behavior has her believing he really his nothing more than a stuck up suit. Graham can't believe the nerve of this woman, but after a few text messages he is intrigued and has to know more. And once he sees her again on the train, he has to have her. Soraya is unlike any woman he has ever met and he knows they could be great together, if only she would let him into her heart...and her bed. My review: I stumbled across the book on desertcart and I am so glad I did! Soraya is a strong sassy character but she has an insecure side too making her a very well rounded character. Graham is cocky, demanding and used to getting what he wants...he was a great match for Soraya. This book has just the right amount of everything...humor, passion, angst and drama. It was a little predictable at times but I still really enjoyed it. My only complaint is the end felt a little rushed to me...it resolved everything but I wants to read more about these two great characters! My thoughts: POV: switches between Soraya and Graham Quick hook or slow starter? 5 (I was hooked from the first chapter) Character development: 4.5 Level of Romance between characters: 4.5 Passion/Heat level: 5 (the sex is hot but not too over the top. Just right for the story) Angst/Heartbreak: 4.5 (the story takes a turn around the midway point and creates a lot of angst between the characters) Cliffhanger?: No, there is a good epilogue at the end. Overall, I thought this was a great story and only wish it has been a little longer so I could have gotten a little more time with these characters!

I always read reviews of ebooks that seem interesting to me if I don't know the author and/or the price is more than I usually spend. Stuck-Up Suit fit in both categories, so I put it on my wishlist at first and asked my book club if someone has read this gem, yet. It was recommended almost immediately, yet I hesitated purchasing it. Then we decided to read it in my book club and I couldn't regret it more to wait till now with reading. This book is the perfect mix from hilariously funny, to serious over some heartbreaking scenes and cliffhangers in the ends of the chapters. I totally recommen it to everybody out there who wants something different with a HEA... Great work!

Oh my goodness - what can I say?? This book was simply FANTASTIC! A complete addictive read... As soon as I saw the cover, read the blurb and realised it was going to be another release by authors Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland, I knew it was a must-read for me. And it did not disappoint. The story is about Soraya Venedetta and Graham Morgan - two complete opposites in every way, who discover each other in an unusual yet explosive way. Graham Morgan is the super sexy, super moody, extremely arrogant 'Suit', whilst Soraya is the sexy, sassy, quick-witted and sarcastic heroine!! I absolutely fell in Love with Soraya's character - her attitude has to be one of the best I've read in a book in a long time! I REALLY LOVED the way she put Graham in his place - regularly!! I loved this book from the start when Soraya 'acquired' Graham's phone after he left it on the train. The initial phone calls, texts and photos that followed had me hooked, as did the continuation of messages between the two characters after Graham finally got his phone back. The banter and flirty messages were brilliant, with Graham determined to spend more time with Soraya. "It doesn't matter how good-looking you are. You're a dangerous human being." "You have no idea how dangerous I am when I want something. I will stop at nothing to get it. And there's nothing more that I want right now then you." There was a great twist in the story line of the book, and I really enjoyed it, seeing how it may or may not affect them and their relationship. Overall this book has it ALL! It was so funny - I had some huge laugh out loud moments! i READ IT ALL IN ONE SITTING AND COULD not PUT IT DOWN! It's HOT, SEXY, WITTY and also has all the feels and drama too. A MUST-READ! Simply 5 stars of Perfection!

Stuck-Up Suit is easily one of the best romances I've read this year. It's co-authored by 2 of the most talented romance authors out there today: Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. This book was addictive, sweet, sexy, hot, dirty, fun and unputdownable. I bought this book after hearing about all the rave reviews and because it hit so many bestseller lists. I was no disappointed. First day, I read this book from 9p.m. to 1:30a.m. Next day, I finished the book. Graham and Soraya are both great characters: quirky (dyed hair tips, strawberry Nesquik and tongue rings?!), three-dimensional and softies at heart. I loved how beneath Graham's cool exterior was a family man through and through; someone who loved his little white terrier, grandmother and his mother...He had a troubled and broken past but nothing a raven-haired hottie couldn't fix. He's cocky as hell but also super sweet and hot when he wants what he wants. ;) Soraya was one of the most refreshing characters I'd read in a long time. She was adorable and feisty and even though sometimes she was filled with self-doubt, she overcame all her worries in the end. It was easy to root for these two and as I neared the end of the book, I didn't want it to be over. This book was worth every penny and I can't wait to read more collaborations between these two authors! Two thumbs up and 5/5 whole-hearted stars! MORE PLEASE!!!
