He was a healthy & happy bird. Received the feeder & installed it. A few hours later I found him laying dead with his wings out on the bottom of his cage. No idea what happened exactly. This was the only variable. I’ve had this bird for a few years. If you buy this, I would say watch the bird the whole time. And don’t leave the bird unattended with it until you are sure your bird/s are safe with this feeder. It looks safe so it didn’t occur to me it could kill my bird. If I had a time machine I would do as I just said above. And not leave my bird unattended with this product. Of course I am very upset as he was my only bird. And my last bird for awhile as I can’t get another one at this time. With a heavy heart I will be returning this feeder. Please use extreme caution if you buy it.

Well protected from damage. Extremely happy with this. It looks GREAT. The one bird went right to it. The other, somewhat hesitant. This fits on the outside of the cage perfectly and it works great. And, the size is exactly what was advertised. I returned another brand that was smaller than advertised, but this one is exactly as advertised. It is high quality too. The hooks are not the cheap ones that just screw in. This was made with thought and care. I'm very happy with it. Thank you.

Way too small for a cockatoo or a macaw and I got the large one what a waste ! The picture they are using is fotoshop, misleading!

I ordered the small size for a 2-month-old Fischer’s Lovebird and he took to it right away. He stands on the divider instead of the metal perch, since he’s a little guy (parakeet size), and the depth is a bit of a reach, but he manages just fine and seems happy. I’m thrilled that his expensive, organic, non-GMO food isn’t wasted. Clean cage, clean floor, and easy on and off with the sturdy metal hooks. Several breeder websites recommended this feeder style and I’m so glad I purchased.

I have 2 cockatiels that share a big cage 🐦 They are notorious for making a huge seed mess when they eat! I knew there had to be a solution so when I saw this feeder, I figured I'd give it a try!🐦 It works like a charm! It took the birds a few minutes to figure out how to actually get in the box and reach the food, but with a little encouragement & some treats, they got it! 🐦 The seed mess all over my floor is drastically reduced. It's a tight fit, & only 1 bird can eat at a time, but it’s no big deal! I do wish it was slightly bigger, but we've had it a couple weeks now and they don’t seem to mind. I wouldn't use this for anything bigger than a cockatiel though! A bigger Bird would struggle to get in and out of the feeding area!

My cockatiel absolutely loves this feeder. He never wants to get out of it lol. As soon as we put him back in his cage he goes straight to this feeder. He refuses to eat out of his other boring bowls now. Definitely recommend! I will be buying a second one to replace the lower bowl feeder as well. And the best part…. NO MORE SEEDS ON THE FLOOR!!!☺️💛

This bird feeder is exceptionally sturdy. My bird was throwing his seed out his cup of was wasting food. This was a little expensive but was of high quality and fit my purpose.

My birds love this feeder I will recommend to all my friends.

Hooks are not the same as pictures show. It comes with very poor quality hooks that do not screw all the way in and break from normal use. Mine broke with half the screw inside so it is impossible to replace the hardware. Could potentially be dangerous if feeder breaks with your parrot inside. Do not recommend!
