The media could not be loaded.  We wanted some under cupboard lighting for the kitchen but didn’t want to have to start inserting lights with bulbs etc into the bottom of the cabinets, so decided on some LED Tape lights instead.I was relieved when I saw this item is a Tuya product as that means it works with Smartlife which I already have for my other smart items, therefore quick & easy to install.The actual putting together of the lights is easy enough & they have some good adhesive on the back to stick to the cupboards.Personal experience with this product is that 2 of the lights were the wrong colour in respect to the rest of the strip & typically were in the middle. We decided to remove them & patch the strip back up with the spare length but this meant I had to buy a pack of tape to tape connectors as there was no way to link the tape back together otherwise.To go around corners we bent the tape which worked well without the need to buy more 90 degree connectors.Due to the lack of length between the switch & the actual tape, we had 2 choices - either have the switch visible & hanging down a wall or run the lights down the wall & hide them behind some conduit (the option we are taking for aesthetic reasons). The latter option means we have lost about a foot and a half of lights that will now be hidden behind a conduit instead of being on the underside of the cupboard where they should be.The logic of such a short cable is like having Christmas tree lights that only have a foot of cable before the lights start. Logically no one wants to see the white, plastic control box hanging halfway down a wall or have a load of lights that start halfway down a wall because the length of cable does not take this into consideration.Interestingly, the length of cable between the wall plug & the controller box is way longer.Since the white isn't actually white, we have used the app to pick the closest thing we could get which looks fine but still has a blue hue to it. For £19.99 however, I am not too bothered about this as we just wanted something to use so we don’t have to put the main LED light on in the kitchen when we need to see something (like getting a drink in the middle of the night)After setting it all up, I tried to use the remote again & thought it has stopped working. Then it dawned on me that the remote must be Infrared which means because I have hidden the cable, plug etc behind another item, it is blocking the signal. As it happens I use the app & voice control anyway, but worth bearing in mind if you prefer remote then this means you have to have a direct line of sight to the controller box on the lights.I've attached photos of the packaging, product & app & a video of the LED Tape Light in action with Alexa.Please note, the video will struggle to pick up the colours well due to the brightness of the LEDs but this hopefully gives you an idea of the product.PROS: • Easy to put up • Can be taken down easily without damaging (most) surfaces so also makes a good temporary option • Quite bright for a small strip of lights • Lots of colour combinations to choose from • Several patterns and options to pick from including response to music • Free app which works well with Alexa • Able to control by voice • The app has lots more options than the remote • Really easy to add to a scene, or put on a timer or schedule using the Smartlife app or the Alexa appCONS: • The white isn't actually white. It's more blue or yellow depending on whether you want "cool white" or "warm white" • 2 of the lights were the wrong colour to the rest of the strip • If you cut the strip wrong you have to buy a tape to tape connector as none included in this pack • The length of the cable with the switch is not very far from the tape of lights, so the weight of it pulls the lights down • Since the remote appears to be Infrared, it needs LOS to the controller on the tape, which means hiding it can disable the ability to use the remoteI am therefore giving this item 4 stars due to the lack of length between the controller box & the start of the LED lights & the 2 LEDs that are the wrong colour.

Great product, however the strips just don’t stick to the surface. We followed the instructions but they just don’t stay up. Very disappointing and what was a simple job has now turned into a time consuming one trying to source some other way to adhere them to the wall. Such a shame as the lights themselves and functions are great.

Sticky on lights awful also wires exposed. Not for outside

The lights look perfect, and there are no issues with the remote. My initially came faulty with red not showing, however the seller replaced the defective unit promptly. I'm very happy with the purchase.

I bought these to liven up my daughter's room and to make it more 'fun' for her. They certainly did that. The bright colours really make her happy and they are very relaxing to look at. Made a huge difference to the room! They are very easy to stick to the walls and around her bedframe and haven't fallen down yet!

Cannot get it to connect to WiFi even though our WiFi is high connection than required.

Really lovely item but unfortunately the stickiness wouldn’t stay up and unable to Connect to the Alexa
