I was excited to get this because of my thicker textbooks for school. Unfortunately, the actual page clamps were not flexible enough to actually use to hold my pages for those thicker text books and in the first week, one of the page clasps started to break. The title description made me think this would be good for larger thicker textbooks so it does fit them, but the actual clamp part to hold the pages isn’t useful for larger books. I wouldn’t recommend for school use.

I received this item as a pair. One was large and the other small. I used the large book stand first with no problem. The smaller book stand had issues. When I set it up for use, the brace on the back broke off. I'm not sure if it is due to a defect or rough shipping. I will repair it myself because the large book stand is doing just fine.

This product works great. Have a big cook book and there are no issues with holding. Pages are held open nicely so you can easily work. This is a winner!

This simple device is so useful and when we're done with it, it folds up to next to nothing. Brilliant design.

The photo in the ad shows the stand taller than wide. I work with tall legal pads so this would be perfect. However, the stand arrived with the clamps and ledge run horizontally.

This works perfect for textbooks! I can even use them with loose leaf textbooks in binders and it works great. It’s an affordable option and is very durable considering.
