I have been using Microbe-lift for years in my fish pond. It really helps so the water is clear and not green. Does not hurt the fish, my dogs who drink the pond water or visiting wild life such are frogs, turtles and birds.

Smells bad works great. Just got a new bottle for this season keeps my pond nice and clear it really works wonders.

Can’t say enough but there’s like no algae use to be a lot great stuff great quality and does what it says

This stuff may work. I am not sure if it does. What it does do is stink to high heaven of rotten eggs. I opened it and the smell took my head off. I have a fountain near my kitchen do or so no way would I use this anyway near where people are. And I am not overly sensitive to smells

So, this season my koi pond was much murkier than normal...I am not sure why that happened, but instead of string algae, I had an abundance of the type that floats and clouds the water.I used Microbe-lift every fall and spring, and it's great, but I was a bit worried that it wouldn't be enough for this level of murky.Within 2-3 weeks, my pond was LITERALLY crystal clear, and I could see that all of my fishies survived the winter! Yay!Of course, it smells terrible, but that just shows how potent the wee bacteria are...and apparently they were very hungry for algae. Ok, that is just me fantasizing, but either way, this stuff is a miracle cure. Highly recommended.

I’m giving this a lower review because it’s been really difficult to get a clean pond. I have had to purchase 3 additional products in addition to the 2 (including this one) that were recommended in setting up a Skippy Bio-Filter System.

Worked amazing took a few weeks just like directions said and then one day crystal clear I already ordered some more
