I ended up taking this kit and my phone in to a repair place. He showed me why I was having issues fixing it even following a video. It works like a dream. Not a single problem with it! I am glad I took it in to be fixed though. The kit has everything you would need except electronic adhesive to close the phone back up. I would recommend this kit

Caused a small delay but im glad they where able to exchange it

This is actually the second time I have purchased this product. The first screen worked well a few years ago. However, this one, while it looks really lovely and does light up, stopped working after a few hours. The screen still lights up, but the touch screen doesn't work. I verified that it is, in fact, the screen and not my phone by putting my severely cracked former screen on it. Cracked and all, the touch screen worked fine. However, the old screen is so badly cracked that half of the screen is black. Therefore, I can no longer use it. I essentially have a phone that I cannot use. I cannot make or answer calls, texts, play games, etc. Most importantly, I use this phone for work. I am very displeased with this product right now. I contacted Amazon and was told to give the seller two days. I have no choice but to do so. However, if they correct the problem, I believe that I will at most only give them three stars since I am now without my work phone for two days at minimum. I will update here if they actually get back to me or if my tech savvy brother with certifications in electrical wiring can figure out a solution.
