Nice looking hardware
The media could not be loaded. I had some work being done on the house so the contractor mounted the door for me. I will say he made pretty quick work of it. The hardware is nice looking and very sturdy. The soft close is an absolute must and glad I decided to spend a little more for it. I also bought the handle from the same manufacturer and they go really well together. So far I’m very happy with this purchase.

Worth the money
These may be pricey but worth the money. They are sturdy, heavy duty enough to safely hold a solid core door, door does not wobble, and the soft close feature makes them worth every penny. And they look great!

Premium sliding door hardware kit...
Sold here solely as a hardware kit, this same hardware is included with a number of complete barn door sets at retailers such as Lowes and Costco. This is premium hardware: solid, heavy, strong and nearly unbreakable. There are, however, a few weak links in the chain. Attaching the hardware to the wall requires a header board (not included, along with door) bolted to the wall at studs with this hardware then bolted to the header board. The reason for the dual attachment is that the header board can be attached to existing studs wherever they may be, but the predrilled holes in the rail's thick iron are 16 inces on center, and you will not want to try drilling new holes through the rail if your studs aren't quite at perfect 16-inch centers (which is often the case when you place a door in a wall). This setup is kind of a weak link because the dual attachment can lead to more play in the hardware than you might be happy with. I tried to make at least half my bolts into the header board from the rail align with studs beneath the drywall to make the overall attachment more secure.A second kind-of-weak link is the soft-close dampers which should last forever like many kitchen drawer soft-close dampers. But these have key plastic parts which can and do break for no good reason in my experience.A third weak link are the anti-jump pads which can get off center and allow the door's rollers to come off the rail.Good parts of this system include:--Metal floor guides. Other versions have cheap plastic guides for the floor.--Strong rubber end bumpers. Good quality for absorbing shock if the damper doesn't work.--Strong rail and wheels. Two final pieces of advice:First, be very careful in laying out the door hardware and your header board to allow for the thickness of trim. Unusual trim pieces--like mission style header boards--can wreak havoc on the installation of your door. Though shims are included, you only have so much thickness you can cover with the hardware. You will need to do most of your thickness adjustments with your header board if you have unusually thick trim.Second, consider your light switches in laying out the door opening. Doors often have light switches near them and you don't want your open door to cover a bank of light switches.

Top notch barn door hardware kit.
Great kit for installation of a barn door, from an established American company, National Hardware. The kit includes everything you need to install one sliding door, and even includes the soft close hardware for both directions.PROS:1. Included hardware is well made, all the parts have a smooth even finish with no rough edges.2. All the mounting hardware lines up perfectly with the screws etc.3. Soft close hardware is included for both directions. allowing soft-open and soft-close - which is fantastic! No slammed doors is always a good thing.4. Beautiful matte black finish is free of manufacturing blemishes and looks terrific.5. Kit includes everything but the door itselfCONS:None.BOTTOM LINE:The hardware included in this kit is high quality stuff that distinguishes itself from a lot of the cheaper competition with its smooth, blemish free finish, and the way all the hardware and screws line up perfectly with each other. This kit will be used to hang a closet door in the house I am currently building, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. Overall this is a great kit for door installation and I recommend it to anyone looking to do so, this is a quality product through and through.

High quality and easy to install
This is a great and very complete kit that was super easy to install, and works perfectly.I had a unique situation in my workshop where I needed a 36" wide door, but I didn't have room to allow for the swing of the door in either direction, so I decided to try a barn style door, and it turned out to be the perfect solution.First of all, though it didn't matter much in my particular situation, the hardware included in this kit is beautifully made, and would fit in perfectly in any farmhouse or industrial style room. The matte black finish is nice! Unlike the other kits from the same manufacturer, this 'premium' kit has a single piece rail for the door to roll on.Installation was VERY easy, and well within the means of anyone with some basic tools and DIY skills. Just take your time, read the instructions (which are VERY well written), and you'll be fine. The soft close option that comes with this particular kit is very nice as well. Not something I knew I needed until I had it!

High quality hardware kit.
I love this sliding door hardware kit. This is high quality hardware. It’s not to hard to install and instructions are clear. I work industrial maintenance so I’m no carpenter at all. I like to do my own projects and I’m overly excited when it pans out as this one did. The slide is smooth and I especially like the soft close feature because with kids in the house that comes in handy. They love to slam doors or just slide it as hard as they can. You know how kids can be. Well this sliding kit with the soft close feature prevents them from sliding this door right off the slides. It’s great. This slide for a door really makes a house look even better. I love the look it gives. I live in a farm house so to have a sliding door is just great. I highly recommend.
