In 2006, La Casa del Grano added the “Rustiche” line to their product offering which contains the most representative shapes of Italian pasta. It is composed of 9 short pasta formats, produced only with the best durum wheat brans and water. The use of the bronze wire-drawing machine produces a pasta that is rough and porous which is not only has a great feel, but is able to capture and hold any sauce you add. The drying process, slow and at a low temperature, makes this pasta tasty with a high protein content.
