Great cameras, great app, FANTASTIC customer service!!!
I have been using two cameras with the Wansview Cloud app for almost three years now. There were a few times when I ran into some technical difficulties, but it was almost always a quick fix from at home. However, there were two times when I needed to contact customer service to get a problem taken care of. I would have rated this camera 4 stars, but I rated it 5 for the following reason:Both times I couldn't solve the problem, the Wansview customer service team was EXCELLENT, ... I mean, above and beyond! Both times, the problems were solved quickly and thoroughly, and each person who helped me with my issue was professional, friendly, courteous, clear, thorough, and concerned. Zoey helped me this past week, and she was absolutely fantastic. Thanks Zoey! The cameras and app work just fine for me. At this price point, I can't imagine a better deal, or a better setup. Maybe I'll upgrade to a 4K Wansview camera soon, as long as I can stay on the Wansview Cloud app. Many thanks again to Zoey and the fantastic team at Wansview, I really appreciate it! As long as your company is around, I'll be a customer!‹

Great value camera with nice features!
The Wansview W6 camera 4-pack is an excellent addition to other wireless security cameras I have installed. First off, for the price, these can not be beat. Pound for pound, these cameras provide the most value for your money. Before buying, I did extensive research and decided to give them a try. I must admit I have been very impressed and these cameras have proved my opinion of the value!First, these cameras come well packaged with protective plastic over the screen. Upon unboxing, you will find all of the components required for a successful installation (minus the tools). The instruction prompt you to download the Wansview Cloud app, which is used to set up the camera. Next, you plug in the camera and hit the + button to add it to the software. The software will provide a QR code that you place in sight of the camera. What I found to be pretty neat is that an audible voice comes from the camera letting you know each step completed. The audible affirmation was a very nice touch. Finally, the camera will tell you that the installation is complete and you are ready to install in a location of your choosing. The whole setup process took me less than three minutes a camera. These cameras can be installed in many configurations, upside down, on the wall pointing out or right side up. A drill hole pattern sticker is included to help with perfectly drilling the mounting holes. The cameras must be powered by being plugged into 110v as POE (Power Over Ethernet) is not available. I did this by drilling a small hole near the mounting area and plugging the system up to an extension cord ran in my attic. The camera can use either ethernet or wireless (2.4) to connect to your network. After installation, I opened the app and slowly positioned the camera to have the best view of the area covered. From what I have noticed, the camera does a great job of focusing. One of the fantastic things about these cameras is that you do not need a DVR, existing security system, or cloud service for these to operate. You can install micro SD cards into each camera, and motion alerts will be recorded on the SD card. You can then view the motion alerts and subsequent videos on your phone, tablet, or computer. You can also install many of these cameras and have them all show up inside the app. We also have some indoor cameras that we monitor on the app as well making everything seamless. The video on these cameras is very clear even at night. The IR floods that are included with the camera illuminate the area very well and provides excellent visibility. The W6 cameras also have two-way audio, so you can hear what's going on through the microphone and even speak through the camera as well. This works great when someone is at our front door or when we have to yell at the kids! All in all, I highly recommend this camera for anyone that wants to create a safer home environment without having some strangers moping around your home installing a “professional” cameras. For the price point, the features are just too useful to pass up. The only thing I am left wanting is I wish these cameras had POE capability, but for the price, I understand. Do yourself a favor and give these a try. You won't be disappointed.

Buy it!
The picture is very clear, it was easy to set up. However, the motion detection picks up there lights from cars even with the sensor on low. However, I liked this camera enough to buy another one for the backyard. I have already recommended this to others because of the price and the quality.

Great product and awesome customer service
We have been using our original Wansview camera for a few years before it’s power cord died on us. Customer service has always been great at helping us solve any issues we had and were wonderful helping us. We recently ordered a new camera and are just so thrilled with the way it works and how defined and clear the picture is. We love being able to speak to people too. We will definitely stand by Wansview for our home camera security needs.

A lot of features for cheap but highly unreliable
I've been using four of these for more than two years and they're just not reliable enough. The compute power is trash. They work fine when the image is simple, like in my garage or on the patio. But as soon as I point them on a more complex scene that requires more processing, like a lot of grass or leaves or moving vehicles, they choke hard. When it's dark or when there's snow on my lawn they work mostly fine. But when the sun comes up or after the snow melts, they're right back to the same spotty behavior.I thought the problem could be poor wireless so I painstakingly wired them all but no change. The stream cuts out all the time. Both to the web and my local ONVIF server. The feed will randomly go down for 5 to 20 minutes at a time. And sometimes they won't come back up until I power cycle them. And when they're not down, they stutter constantly. The timestamp pauses and jumps forward every few seconds.I added SD cards to see if I could get reliable local recordings, but that made it worse. Now they're trying to stream AND write to disk and the reliability actually decreased. I just bought one more to see if the hardware has improved in the last two years but it's the same garbage.I'm moving to a different ONVIF system entirely. This is the best cheap outdoor camera system I've found, but I'm no longer convinced there is such a thing as a good cheap outdoor system.

Good protection for our horse and barn cats
We have predators in the area and needed to keep an eye on our animals in the barn. This camera is number 7 (yes they work that well) so now all areas are covered. One camera needed an antenna away from the camera itself due to placement and metal walls (these cameras use WiFi and wired ethernet). Fortunately I was able to source one and it works well. Edit: I've moved to a QNAP QVR and these cameras are compatible with the software. So in addition to the Wansview app, I have the cameras recording on motion 24/7.
