Game change/ smooth ride
Update: I’ve used the cart for about 6 DJ gigs and I’m still in love with it! Cuts trips in half, can move big loads of powered subs, turntable cases, and racks. The fat wheels smooth out bumps, thresholds, elevator gaps, gravel and GRASS. My roadie and I love it. Essential item. OG review: Used TWICE so can’t comment on long term durability but: I’m a professional DJ and I love this cart, game changer for easy loads and less trips!! It’s definitely big but I use vans so it’s not a big deal to store and move. The first use was to help a friend move, it handled dressers, boxes, etc with ease and rolled smooth, it was a hit with the friends who appreciated fewer trips w/ heavy items. The next test was a large wedding gig with a load-in over GRASS, it took two of us to spot it but it rolled over no problem, even handled gopher holes. We expanded it and loaded it high with speakers, cases, and stands and cut our trips in half (at least) we barely used the old hand truck. The large wheels also gave a smooth ride over paths and a gravel driveway, even making it over the gnarly doorway threshold in my garage. I love this cart! Only a couple minor suggestions for improvement: the plastic cap ends need to be glued so they don’t pop off I’m planning to use rubber cement. And the handlebars don’t lay 100% flush and clamp down securely when folded up, when I turned it upside down to slide into the van for travel the bars dangled making it a little annoying to stow, if they could be secured that would be awesome. Also I appreciate the metal stopper nub (not sure what it’s called) that safety secures the sliders when cart is fully expanded, it would be nice to have another one at the halfway point so we have the option for partial expansion that is safety “locked”. Great product, I’m even thinking of buying a lighter weight version that can easily be stowed in a car for my drum gigs. Rock on.

Perfect cart for this solo musicians needs.
Have now used this all terrain cart for 20+ gigs. I’m so glad I got the large wheel version. It rolls super smooth over all kinds of surfaces, from rough roads and parking lots to grass and gravel. It is a heavier cart than I’m used to but it’s worth the weight. I’m a solo looping musician but haul a lot of gear to each gig. Usually I’m hauling a Pedal train pro in a flight case with either one or 2 Bose L1 systems and another Subwoofer, a large pelican type case with my lighting, cables, accessories and hardware, a fan and some mic stands. Everything fits nice and is secure. Because the wheels give such a smooth ride my gear doesn’t rattle loose and fall which was a problem with other carts I’ve used. I don’t have to use ratchet straps all over to keep things secure anymore. Which saves time and looks more professional when rolling through venues with clients and guests present. Many of my bookings are in hotels and restaurants here on Oahu and appearance matters to clients even during load in/out. I highly recommend this cart to any person needing a sturdy cart that has massive capacity which can be collapsed to a reasonable size and can handle most any terrain you need to get through.

Well built, lot's of uses, and convenient
Overall it's a really nice product, the ability to fold it up and put in the car for transport is very handy, it can hold a lot of stuff when it's extended and the large wheels make navigation over mixed terrain very easy. This replaced a cart with smaller hard wheels that were constantly an issue going over door thresholds, even the smallest of ones. Things that could be improved upon: It sticks sometimes and has a hard time extending, plastic bushings that go into the tubing would make the slide smoother and help prevent binding due to minor misalignments while extending it. The manual hand screws are a bit annoying, they can lock it in good but the issue becomes the majority of the time we only use it on the shortest size or the largest. If the hand screw configuration is setup with a dead space between the threads, the screw can free spin instead of accidentally being unscrewed too far. Adding a hole for the ball bearing to fall into at the short length like it is at the long length would be great, I'm actually considering doing it myself.

Great Cart!
This cart is perfect! I got it because I had a Ball I was DJing and the venue had a gravel parking lot and it had to be a fast clean out at the end of the night. When I showed up and put my entire rig on this cart I was impressed! When I rolled across that gravel I was so glad that I bought this cart! My rig was 2 12" Bose F1, 812s, and 2 Bose F1 subs, and a Bose sub 2, and of course booth, lights, and 2 equipment bags. It rolled so smooth. That was a heavy load and it was very manageable. You just has to make wide turns when it's stretched out all the way like it was. If you need a cart that can across gravel or grass this is the one. Made loading in and out a breeze.

Excellent investment
Pros: Wheels are fantastic, heavy duty construction, strong enough to transport a 5pc drumkit and hardware from car to stage in one trip without flexing or dumping the load. Easy to use, everything works like it should. Rolls well over city sidewalks and grass, the wheels absorb much of the shock without fully transferring it to the load. Cons: It's a bit heavy and bulky, make sure you have room to store it and you have the strength to lift it. It barely fits in my front seat with the rest of the car fully loaded (4 door sedan), but it does fit. Overall: Worth the extra money for this monster.

Gator vs Rock n Roller R18 - DO NOT BUY THIS YET
The cart collapsed on its first trip with a few boxes of camera equipment. In comparison, our RocknRoller R18’s would last well over 100+ before replacement. This is a shame because it has some really good design improvements over the rock n roller: The good: -Slightly Smaller size is much better for vehicles and elevators (but still offers the extension for larger loads) -the Fixed wheels are better quality with metal hubs. -the handle folding system is MUCH better than rock n roller. But as you can see in the photos it just isn’t built right. The metal is thin, the welds are poor and seem incomplete. The adjustment screw for the extension sheared off straight away - only 4 small tack welds. The swivel wheels have a really big offset so when they’re in the pull position (inwards) you could feel the cart flex/bend downwards at the end. This puts sideways pressure on the crossbar. And sure enough, that’s where it broke. The wheels folded up and the cart collapsed. The welds and metal in this area all cracked/bent. There was no impact.. it just slowly “sat down”. If there was some minor design improvements on the swivel wheel mounting and some more strength in the welds and metal, this would be a big improvement over the R18.

Excellent build quality.
This cart is perfect for moving musical equipment over less than perfect surfaces. It’s sturdy, has large wheels and folds up well.

Well Built
It's built well and sturdy. Can put all my dj gear in one load. It's a little pricey, but can you put a price on quality.

GREAT KART
As I stated in the title, this is a great cart. The tires are amazing and it has great load capacity, I like many others use this as a production cart for films, and it is a great accessory to have. I hate having my gear placed all over the floor here we can keep it organized.
