Product is good no doubt
Product is good no doubt. Color matches exactly. However, advisable to clean surface thoroughly and then put a layer of primer prior to spraying. Also, for max coverage 3 sprays is advisable but even 2 sprays does the job.

Extremely happy with the results!
I had some old patio furniture sets that were in desperate need of a refresh and between this paint and the Rust-Oleum "Stops Rust" satin clear enamel top coat, am ecstatic with the results! The paint went on super smooth and clean but I did a lot of prep to the surface before painting (cleaned, sanded, de-greased, then primed). I have to say my finish came out more "metallic" than "hammered" but I'm still thrilled.

Rust-Oleum 7214830A2 7214830-2PK Stops Rust Hammered Spray Paint, 12 Oz, Gray, 2 Pack is a really great paint and easy to use. Our gas pipe on the back porch that is for the outdoor grill, was just starting to show a little bit of rust. So I got this paint to take care of that. I used plastic wrap to cover the knob, and then tin foil to cover the house wall behind the pipe and the porch floor. It all came out nicely and I am very pleased with the results.I also used it on a small place inside our mailbox that had started to rust. Again, very easy and I am happy.

Good color, crap quality
I decided to paint over the silver & brass bathroom hardware in my house & after doing some research I thought this was the best option for paint. Well the color & finish is great, I was happy for a couple of weeks but now it’s all starting to scratch/chip fairly easily & it looks terrible now! I followed the directions to the T, I used their recommended primer & sealer on the project as well only to have it get ruined in a few weeks. Now I have to buy more, empty out my bathroom, tape everything off all over again so I can redo it & prey it doesn’t happen again so easily. So much for saving money buy painting instead of replacing. 😡
