Benjamin Monkey No Biting: An Early Reader Picture Book for Kids

It worked for us. After reading this story to our son for a week, the biting at pre-k stopped. The only negatives are that it's kind of long and it doesn't teach your kiddo what to do if you use your words instead of biting, but their friend says no to sharing. Some other books, i.e. Teeth Are Not For Biting, address that scenario but my son prefers this book.

The children love the book! It's a great story and I use it not just for biting but also to teach kindness. Most important it teaches the children to use their words

Would not recommend this for younger kiddo (too long and the message could be misunderstood). Would say ok for.kiids 4+.

My 2 year old loves this book so much she even sleeps with it sometimes. We got this book because of her recent biting episodes at daycare and at home. This book along with using puppets to demonstrate about biting has seem to do the trick and there has been no more biting since.

The story gives the reader a consequence of biting. It centers around a monkey who keeps trying to bite his friends until his friends stop playing with him. Trying to stick with love and logic teachings, this book reinforced the natural consequences we were already trying to teach.

Very helpful in eliminating biting behavior! Our 3 year old improved greatly! He even seems to understand now how the bitten kid feels. Highly recommended. We read it all the time.

This book really did help with our toddlers biting only reason it didn't get 5 stars is due to the quality of the book.
