I used this to run inside a wall and across the ceiling to my projector. I have a junction box at each end with a shorter HDMI cable completing the run to the receiver and projector. It works as expectected. The only negative is the sound. It doesn't pass uncompressed 7.1 HD audio. It will passed compressed audio like with an optical cable. The only thing this effects for me is if I stream from the projector and pass the audio back. I picked up a ONN 4K streaming box that I plugged into the receiver and problem solved.

Does what it’s supposed to do. Gets the job done.

Hey guys thanks for the product but had signal drop after 30 days of install. I know it's fiber optic and it was installed by a professional installer who was delicate and didn't bend or kink the wire. But unfortunately we had to replace this for signal drop. Signal from PTZOptics camera would go in and out during use.
