BYKES 30-pc N45 Neodymium Super Strong Extremely Powerful Rare Earth Refrigerator Magnets 1/2 x 1/8" Disc

Really strong little magnets! I got them for use in a leather Kindle Paperwhite cover, to turn it on and off when opened and closed. Worked like a charm. A note came with the magnets with a link to a couple of youtube videos that contain info on how to separate the magnets, and how to rejoin them safely. You have to hold the stack vertically next to a sharp edge like a counter top, with the top magnet just above the edge, and then push it off, hanging on to it until you get it several inches away (or it snaps back, probably shattering.) It takes a fair amount of force to push it off the stack, because these little guys are really, really strong.

I'm honestly torn between 3 or 4 stars. I love how VERY strong these magnets are but I am really surprised at how FRAGILE they are. In just trying to separate them from each other (not that easy when they are this strong!!) they snap back together and BREAK into pieces!! It's so disappointing to see this happen to an otherwise awesome magnet. I've broken five of them so far, one had a piece of the magnetic coating flake off. (Out of 30pcs of these 1/2" (3/16" thick) ones) and 3 broke the same way from my order of the 1/2" (1/16" thick) ones. That's money down the drain..

Seller had superfast shipping and their packaging was good, but the product was way too fragile. All I did was seperate the magnets and two of them chipped. 5 of them chipped within minutes of opening. Way too brittle for use as magnets. I must have gotten a bad batch.

These were so strong even the men couldn't pull them apart and we were going to use them afterwards for some of the teachers in the group, but they were afraid to use them with the kids

Magnets are very powerful for their size, they are also very brittle!

I have steel walls in my office at work. I use these to hold up all of my pictures and stuff. They work exceptionally well (almost too well). I now have about 60 little round magnets holding everything up. So far I've only cracked one magnet and that was carelessness.These really are VERY powerful. Be careful with them. Pinching a finger between a couple of them can feel like getting bitten by a small animal.

Strong and works for my needs. Remember these magnets break fairly easily and can leave sharp edges... Not for kids...

I build my childs wooden toys, and I've been looking for small, strong, easily inserted magnets that can go into the wood and be strong enough to be covered by a wooden plug and still have purchase..These magnets are beyond what I hoped for, and I will be purchasing more.What's really wonderful is the size and strength, I've gotten some magnets that were strong, but just too small to be of significant use in a covered concept like I've described, they were so small the distance from another magnet or ferrous surface prevented much of my original idea, but these ..simply perfect.I will definitely buy at least 3 or 4 more sets of these because they must have a near 5-8 pound pulljust incredible
