After 3 months of being a fastidious and demanding aquarist, I've come to rely mainly on Seachem as my preferred go to brand for starting, maintaining and enjoying my new/beloved hobby. Seachem Headstart Conditioning Pack is the best way to get any tank up and running smoothly and almost effortlessly.Inside the box are 3 bottles of their best products Prime/Stability/Clarity. Here's the routine:1. Add prime to water before it goes into the tank for best results....follow detailed instructions for your specific tank volume.2. Next, add Stability to jump start tank cycling...you may add fish soon thereafter, but remember to add this for 1 week more.3. Clarity is best used sparingly for the most pristine water, at least once a week or maybe twice per month.4. Remember the smaller the tank the longer this pack will last. For me 100ml each is sufficient for my 3 new tanks for at least a couple of months or maybe more.I've weaned myself from over using Clarity by adding Seachem Purigen to my Penguin 150 filter; now I only use it right after my weekly water changes. Do yourself a neat favor and add this pack to your shopping cart personally, I intend on remaining with the aquarist hobby for the long term and I surely believe Seachem will be apart of my future expansion into the fish hobby realm.

Being a newbie to freshwater aquariums I took the obvious course and purchased most of my starter stuff from the big box stores only to lose my first set of fish decided to start all over again and did a lot of research and reading and decided on seachem and I am so glad I did . After the 7-Day regiment I did a initial water test my API Master Test Kit showed my levels all at perfect 0 parts per million I couldn't be happier with this product very safe and very easy to use. My new fish are happy and thriving.

Seachem Prime and Stability are almost essential for any tank and having them together in this size is perfect for starting up a new tank, especially nano tanks.I only wish they would leave out Clarity and opt for larger sizes of Prime and Stability. I'd never used Clarity before and having had multiple opportunities to do so while rescaping tanks recently, I can confidently say it's made no difference. I find Seachem Purigen to be the best product for actually clearing water.
