Fantastic torch one of the best
It’s a great torch, easy to carry, you can use the tube as a night light the RGB and white light is also a massive bonus to use for night time adventures. One thing I hate about the torch is you can’t turn the proximity sensor off that’s it’s only flaw and it can easily roll off of surfaces which is another design flaw other than that it’s a great OLIGHT product I have many of their products.

Multicoloured, practical and versatile all in one!
Heard about olight for many years but never bought one until now. Oh boy this freyer is possibly the best looking torch I ever owned, it is both practical and versatile. The multicoloured function is a good touch plus the included traffic ward it’s perfect. With 5 year warranty you won’t regret buying this masterpiece.

Bright enought and strong.
I like to do my evening exercise late at night when there are fewer people. As I am close to a large field I do like to have a torch just to make sure I don't tread in something left from a dog's behind. So we have a nice little touch, good re-chargeable and I hope long-lasting.It's has a good weight, all the specs seem, fine, but just using for a period of time at full beam it does get hot. I don't think too hot to handle, but my Son likes to play with my torches and so.Noting this is not a famous brand, the value looks like it's trying to be a little higher than one can expect.Solid unit, but just that caution about sustained use might be a worry.

Great torch somewhat let down by custom battery and frustrating controls
My first thought upon reading the specs for this torch was 'rubbish, you can't get 1750lm from one chip" - Well, it seems I was wrong.I've shone it as the wall with a much more expensive torch as reference, and had a rummage round on the internet, and it seems it uses a luminus SST40 LED, and the specs for that say this is reasonable - ditto the battery, it's a 21700 (a format extensively developed by Panasonic and Tesla about 3 years ago for the Model 3 to deliver 5Ah / cell) so the energy density is entirely feasible.I was expecting to be disappointed by the light output - I'm not. It packs on heck of a punch in the format size. It's a significant step forward from older lights, and with the LED claiming 170lm/W the efficiency is very good too.So, what have they got wrong?Firstly, the battery us custom packaged with both terminals at one end so it's not interchangeable with a standard cell, and replacements will cost 5-6 times what 21700 cells usually cost, plus you can't charge it in a normal charger, only the torch.Secondly, the controls are annoying. To engage the most useful 300lm white light required a double click on the side button to put it in MAX output, then a second double click to turn it down to 300lm. Other modes are much easier to engage, despite being almost novelties (like the coloured LEDs)You can switch it to 300lm with a soft dab on the tail cap switch, but in gloves that's a 2 handed job unless held backwards 'tactical' style. Really, it hasn't been thought through properly. Also, the brightest output isn't available for long, so you have just about long enough to get dazzled and it turns itself down.Manufacturing appears great - it's well finished (like most consumer electronic devices) wit nice detailing, a fantastically easy to use charger, and a head exhanger so complex I can't work out how they made it.But the interface means I can't work out who it would be an ideal light for, and the battery seems a pointless complication. Hence, I compromise at 4 stars. It would be three if it wasn't so nicely made, and five if the switches were better thought out.

£130- are you sure?
Plenty powerful but this seems to be pitched at bedroom heroes. All the emergency colours under the sun for pretend first, second and third responders. Doesn't zoom alas.A good cool white beam coupled with a 5000mAhr battery is what its all about, and it is a nice package. Excellent magnetic charge point at base. But £130??? Shop around and you will find half price competition for the lumen count.

It’s a good torch but not £130 good
Wow this is an expensive torch!! Comparing it to my ‘don’t touch Dad’s special torch’ £40 one I’ve used for some time this isn’t a big upgrade really, certainly not worth the extra £90 in my opinion.Saying that it is a nice torch, built well with a really good finish on the casing, it has a very cool magnetic charging cable that attaches to the end where the button is for the colour change and the belt holster is good. The cone I would never use, unless I have to wave in a plane or play lightsaber daggers with my kids, that is aimed at the services I guess. The brightness is very good, the range of the light is impressive it does seem to penetrate well and keep its beam longer than my other one. It’s supposed to sense objects and adjust the beam but I could never tell if it was my eyes or the torch doing anything. It feels like a very good torch but I’d honestly never pay £130 for it. If I was searching mountains or on patrol maybe.
