Wow! This hair dryer is amazing!
When I used this Panasonic hair dryer in our hotel in Japan, I couldn’t believe how fast it dried my hair! I didn’t even realize it had the oscillating feature at that time (you slightly pull out on the oscillating nozzle to activate this feature, and push it back in to stop it). When I got home, I started my search and was excited to find the dryer on Amazon. I love it even more using the oscillating feature when I start drying my hair, then without oscillation to finish styling. I have long, thick hair and I don’t dread drying my hair anymore with this dryer. It has cut my drying time at least in half, probably more. I don’t even want to try my old dryer again to time it out! My hair is smoother than drying with my other dryers, too. I haven’t needed to try the concentrator nozzle or diffuser yet, but I’m glad they were included. It has high and low speed settings, and hot, warm, cool temperatures, with a cool shot button. The cord is nice and long, and the weight and noise levels are fine for me (less than my last salon brand dryer). Everything I need and super fast drying. I’m so glad I found this dryer!

amazing
I own the airwrap and was fully expecting to not be impressed, but Panasonic is quite popular in Asia so I decided to give it a try. Upon first use I can tell my hair feels softer as it's drying, with the airwrap my hair feels more coarse. I literally tried it side by side so it's not bc of a different hair product or anything.I am guessing the moisture ion actually does work bc I can feel a difference, frizz wise I think it helps too and it dries faster than other cheaper hairdryers I've tried in this format. The weight distribution is not bad for being almost 2x the weight. Overall very impressed and highly recommend. The only thing they can improve on is dual voltage

Wow! Panasonic. Still the very best!
I have always found Panasonic to be a very reliable quality brand in everything they make since I was a teenager. I bought this dryer and it really does make your hair softer! Was very bummed when it had a mild fall from shelf and died. Thought the warranty was expired (per Amazon order info) and I was out of town for months. Got home finally and found box and paperwork and discovered it has a 2 year warranty!! Sent it in about a week ago for repair and I now have a new hair dryer. Fast! They replaced it no hassle at all. I am so happy and 100% recommend this dryer. I have unruly frizzy natural curls and my hair loves this dryer. Many styling options with the 3 attachments. Well worth every dollar. Thank you Panasonic. I still love to buy vintage Panasonic items at thrift stores- fans, radios etc. Well built products and excellent customer service!!2 YEAR WARRANTY you may not need to buy Amazon’s protection plan if offered.

Amazing
Best hair dryer I’ve ever owned hands down! I have very thick coarse frizz proned hair that takes forever to dry. With this hair dryer 5-8 min MAX! My hair is silky, shiny and soft. Highly recommend.

Stealthy and smooth
My old dryer died and I needed a new one. I wanted to treat myself but also wanted to be able to afford to eat occasionally, so the Dyson was out of the question. I ended up going with the Panasonic, which was still rather pricey, but still within my budget. At first I thought this dryer was too weak on the highest setting, but it turned out to be a deception. For context, it takes 30-40 minutes to dry my hair with the highest setting on my old dryer, (I have very long hair.) This one dried my hair within 15 minutes. That's a VERY significant difference in drying time, especially considering how long my hair was.The best part about it is my hair did not look frizzy or dried out by the end, and actually looks nice and silky smooth. The oscillator is also very convenient in allowing my arms to rest and avoid moving about; why move my hands around when the oscillator already does the same job? It's too early for me to give a Final thoughts, but so far I really like and enjoy this dryer. It's fast-drying, quiet, and makes my hair look and feel silky smooth.

Naturally soft wave in my fine, usually frizzy flyaway hair
I have taken a long time to assess this hair dryer before writing a review. I know it is expensive, much more than I am used to paying for a hair dryer, and I really wanted to determine if it was worth the money before I left a review, so others could have some feedback before they decided whether or not to make this purchase. Just so you know why I felt it might be worth the cost: I have fine, dry, color-treated hair, and it has been thinning for a while now despite my doing everything I can to protect it. I only wash it a couple times a week, using non-sulfate products, so it won’t dry,out too much, take biotin, etc. One thing I can’t really do is “just let it dry naturally”, which seems to be the answer so many people give me. My hair is just too flyaway and frizzy if I don’t blow dry it and style it into submission or put it back in a pony tail, which can also cause breakage. I have gone,to some really great hairstylists and they have given me good advice that helps. So I make sure that I use heat protectant products and splurged on this hair dryer to see if it might help.Overall, I really like the hairdryer. It is NOT lightweight, but I did not expect it to be. It came with all the accessories I wanted —diffuser, regular concentrated drying end (which I literally never use), the end that you can snap on and then click into place for the oscillating fan. I have to say, I LOVE the last feature and I use it practically every day. I feel that when I use this, my hair just looks better. I find the same styling I usually do results in a softer, slightly wavier look when using the oscillating feature, which seems more natural than contrived, and I like that. My hair has less frizz and flyaway than with my Babyliss dryer. The diffuser works just like every other diffuser I have used, except it is definitely better than anything Babyliss has.. Theirs do not attach well, fly off the end of the dryer one do not allow for enough heat flow between the prongs of the diffuser the way this one does.As far as the conditioning technology this dryer is supposed to have—I was really skeptical about that when I bought it, and I still am. Drawing moisture from the air to DRY your hair seems counter-Intuitive. Instead of conditioning the hair, it would likely just mean you would have to spend more time to dry it at all. So I would not put too much stock into that particular claim. I do think I would consider the infrared tech for my next hair dryer, though, as stylists I know swear by it.So, is this hair dryer worth the cost? For me, for the oscillating feature alone, yes, I feel it is. if any other dryer had that feature for less, I would definitely buy it, but since they don’t, I am satisfied with this purchase.
