These things are huge. I got them to put Ariel laundry detergent in. Can hold 2 large bags. Used others for opened insecticide and fertilizers for the yard. The wheels were incredibly tough to get into their holes. Small plastic holes with ribbed aluminum post on the wheels. I had to use an old hard rubber mallet to get them to seat. I swear I thought the wheels would break but they are incredibly tough. No worse for the pounding except for me! I’m glad I got them. Couldn’t imagine stringing that much rice or beans undies you are a restaurant. The lids slid but do not snap shut tightly if that’s one of your requirements. If you don’t need airtight sealed containers these could fit the bill. They did for me.

Initially, the latch lid wasn't catching easily, but after I put some rice in the bin, it began working pretty well. It is not made of a heavy duty plastic, so I don't think it will take a beating, but since it just sits in my pantry holding rice, mine has been completely satisfactory. I like the compact shape.

Plastic is poor quality. Seal would be great if the latches would stay latched. Some latches don’t stay latched and pop back open. The latches are also very cheaply made so will probably break after a few times of opening and closing. My measuring cups also came with dried on liquid. Not airtight. Instruction manual is a joke. The labeled picture isn’t correct. Many typos in the manual.

Great product. Easy to assemble. Convenient size. Love the little rollers/casters. Storing ground coffee at a homeless navigation center.

Bought the 5.2 gallon option as a rice and bean storage option. Each bij holds about 25 lbs of rice, so 2 of them hold a 50lb bag of rice. The product isn't air tight, but it does cover the items inside and prevents bugs and such h from getting into it. There's no instructions, so I'll describe what I did to assemble the unit without any tools: When assembling, flip the product upside down to install the wheels. Wiggle them back and forth gently to get it started. After that, very slowly add your body weight as you "screw" the wheels on back and forth to get them on very easily. Be careful not to misalign the wheels because I don't think the plastic will hold up to a hammer forcing them in. The lid fits under the lip of the main body top, starting from the front of the unit. Make sure you can read the clear lid (ensure it's oriented right), and slide it under a lip on the sides of the top of the main body (white lid) of the product. It'll slide up towards the back. There's a small lip it catches on and you'll have to carefully guide it up past that catch so that the lid "sits" properly on the unit. After that, you can easily "lift" the front portion of the clear lid and it'll slide back without any problems. It's easy and smooth at this point to "open and close" the clear lid, making access really easy. Overall, a really decent and well built product. I like it's design and the materials used. It feels very sturdy, especially for its price. I find it to be a good value and a good storage solution for my needs. It definitely helps with organization and is easy to clean. That being said, it's not air or water tight. I don't think this will keep products "fresh" longer than another solution without these features. I live in Florida and the humidity is always a problem, so I don't think this is the solution for you if it'll be exposed to high humidity environments and definitely not outside. At least not for the 5.2 gallon option.

When making Sour Dough bread especially you go through a lot of flours. 5 pound bags don't last long and are not really handy to get into a mixing bowl without the flour going all over. I can put 18 pounds easily in each container. I purchase 12 pound bags of both Bread Flour and All Purpose Flour and with a scoop they are much easier to measure on a scale and get into the bowl! Huge improvement over previous storage methods!

The capacity is great; each one fits a 30-pound bag of small kibble, which was exactly what I needed. But here's the issue: the seal on the lid just doesn't work well. The clasps don’t close securely, and getting the lid to sit right is more frustrating than it should be. Honestly, for me, value for the money comes down to whether the product actually does what it's supposed to—and this one kind of misses the mark. I just can't comment of food freshness because the lid does not close right. It functions as a dog food bin, technically. And sure, the wheels are a nice touch and it was easy to set up. But the build quality and design flaws (especially that lid!) make it hard to recommend. Just not what I hoped for at this price point.

While the storage is efficient and the putting together was easy, the lid on one of the containers will not snap closed. I've had to tape it down to keep my items fresh amd every time I need in it have to unpeel the tape. I do not recommend for anything with a shelf life...
