I ordered one pair, one of the fans had a problem. I should have noticed that it didn't spin freely but I installed it and once it was in place whenever it spun up it sounded like a motorcycle engine. After removing it I noticed that if I spun the fan with my finger it would quickly come to a stop because it was making contact with something in the fan case. I returned it and received a replacement pair that was even worse than the first. One of the fans wouldn't spin at all - it immediately came to a stop when spinning with my finger. Either the quality control on these is awful, or they're being damaged in shipment (they're in a baggie, not a box). Avoid, or at least buy from somewhere cheaper so you can buy a few and hopefully end up with one properly working pair.

Bought these just over a year ago for my Dell XPS 9570, perfect fit and no more issues with heat. Very easy to install, still cooling my laptop quietly and efficiently and it's a laptop I NEVER turn off! I use it for intensive Lightroom and Photoshop editing meaning generating a lot of heat inside the machine, no problems. Recommend these. Quality for a low price, it is possible.

These fans were easy to replace as they were OEM sized and all spec’d correctly. They are also pretty quiet compared to my (heavily used) OEM fans. Also significantly cheaper than Dell which is a big plus! They are still running strong a year since replacement.

Dell laptop was running but making lots of noise. Had to be the fans so opened it up and sure enough fans were plugged up with dust and dirt. Could have blown them clean but no guarantee the noise would stop so after looking at alternaselected this product. Arrived quickly and were simple to install. They fit perfectly and now my laptop runs ever so quiet! Really happy with these new fans.

The fans work and fit. They are quite noisy. Definitely more noisy than the original. I first installed and screw them in too tight, this created a lot of noise and contact betweenthe casing and the blade. Dont do that. After i reopened and adjusted they dont make contact any more but the airflow sound is still quite noisy.

Although this product came up when searching for Dell Precision 5520 replacements, note that only one of the two fans will fit this laptop. If you have a 5520, keep looking. Luckily for me the fan that was going bad in my laptop happened to be the one that fit from this kit, so I just replaced that one. The replacement steps are easy to follow and went off without a problem. Now my laptop is quiet as a mouse even when the fan is running.

This is the second set of these to replace the noisy OEM fans: The first set, the fans were bent and would not spin... gave system errors while just hearing, "click.. click... click.." The now second set video fan arrived with a broken mounting tab. Glued it on and the fan works fine. The CPU fan, on the other hand, will not lie flat. Mounting it causes the fan not to spin at all. I am done with crap stuff from Amazon. I now have ordered Dell replacements from partspeople.com.

Quality of the plastic frame was not good, by small pressure fan was stucking

Right side fan was loose and not sturdy causing contact and friction resulting in loud fan noise when typing, holding the device and many times continuous noise on the right side. Ended up ordering directly from Dell and they part they provided worked perfectly no issues.

Have had these installed for a couple of days now. Surprisingly, they seem to be more quite than the original Dell fans.

I ordered this part twice, both times it came with one fan broken the first time was a mounting point, the second was a clip to hold the front plastic cover on. Dissapointing.

It appears they have no quality control. The CPU fan was obviously faulty - the blades constantly clattered on the metal frame. Also be aware these are shipped from the US and take an age to arrive.
