Comfy and affordable
These are really comfy and not super thick and stuffy or too thin either. The length fit me just fine, the waist is a little high they are defensive not low rise. I ordered the medium that I usually wear and to account for aome shrinking through the wash. The medium was a little bigger than expected though. I am 5’ 2” and currently 143 lbs. and I definitely could have gotten a small. The picture attached shows a side shot of me holding out the waist without any effort at all. I am ordering some other colors but will order small instead.

Comfortable for Home Only
After the stay at home orders were in place, I purchased a couple pairs of these to lounge around in. My husband hates every pair and calls them my “prison issued sweats” but they are comfy, basic and extremely sturdy! Ladies, these run a size big - they tighten up a “little” in the wash and stretch back out after a couple hours of wear so your booty will look saggy by end of day... I typically wear a Medium in just about everything and purchased a Medium and Small in these, both fit fine but the small doesn’t make my booty and thighs look as huge by the end of day. Only buy these for home comfort, WARNING: your husbands will not appreciate it. Haha!

Runs Ridiculously Large
Runs ridiculously large. The Hanes size chart says XL fits a 32-34" waist, yet when I measured, the waistband is actually 42" wide, and would fit a 42-44" waist. There is no drawstring, just a 2 inch wide elastic band. The hip measures 52", inseam is 30", outseam is 40". The ankle is loosely cinched with elastic, leaving a 13" opening. The Navy Heather color is pretty, like that of faded denim. The fabric is between thin and medium weight. I'd call these 'just okay' for $6-8 sweatpants, but because the sizing deviates so far from the chart, I can only give 2 stars. I bought these expecting a generally comfortable fit, only to find the waist 10 inches too wide... so big they wouldn't even stay up on my hips.*** Update *** I ordered the medium and they measure (before laundering) 35" in waist and 45" in hip.. a FAR CRY from what the size chart says, and exactly what I needed in a pair of 'fat-day' sweatpants. Interesting to note, reviewers at W-Mart reported the same problem with size difference, so it's not an isolated issue of shipments to Amazon. I expect there will be a little shrinkage after laundering and will update later if it's worth mentioning. Advice: If ordering, order DOWN at least 1 size.*Update on my update, the mediums had barely noticeable shrinkage. After wearing them for a few months I've noticed that they're holding up pretty well with use and laundering. They do have a little bit of "pilling" but it's not too bad. I upgraded to 3 stars for comfort, price, and durability. They are "okay" for sweatpants. Note, I never wear them out of the house.

I am 5'3" and 206lbs and the XL was a perfect fit and I was shocked that they weren't too long. I wish the elastic bottoms were cinched a bit more but I ordered all,of,the colors despite this. Hope this helps someone.

Just Use A Drawstring!
COLOR: I've ordered several pairs. The colors have been true to those shown in the photos. INSEAM: 30 and 1/2 inches. Expect it to be around 30 after dryer shrinkage. POCKETS: These do not have pockets. The closest equivalent that does have pockets are these: Hanes Women's French Terry Jogger Pant, Black, Small sweats. Medium weight fabric. A 50/50 cotton poly blend. They do pill badly between the thighs. *NOTE: Some colors have flared legs and may be made with different materials. PRICE: Consistent with other brands but actually a bit cheaper that if you were to buy it in-store.ALTERATION: After inserting a drawstring and knotting it at just the right width, these became the perfect pull-on tapered leg pants. I always felt dumpy wearing regular sweats no matter what my size was. Too much extra material. These fit more like jogger pants - room up top with tapered legs. At this price point who cares what damage may be caused by inserting a cheapo drawstring from a craft or sewing store. My drawstring is actually from an old knapsack. And the effect is cute for all ages. You get paper bag or groucho pants which are cute. You have to figure out what feels comfortable and flatters your body type. If you're overweight like me and your thighs rub together causing pilling then these wont last long anyway.BRAND: I've also purchased these in every color (direct from Hanes) for my mom who lives in a facility. Pull on pants make it easier for her caregivers to dress her and for her to use the restroom on her own without confusion. They're one of the few companies that carries petite sweats that fit her. She's always warm and comfortable (no flared legs) and hers don't need a drawstring. Hanes Women's French Terry Jogger Pant, Black, Small
