Instructions: PULL cap off to write; UNSCREW cap to refill ink. Be sure to read instructions!
These are really great super thick dry erase pens. And they are cost effective because they are refillable! However many people don’t read instructions (to be honest most of us wouldn’t think we needed to for markers lol) and so some may think they received a defective product. They did not receive a defective product. They simply opened the marker improperly. The cap has two configurations: one for uncapping and writing - and the other for opening the marker to refill the ink.To use the marker for writing one must simply pull off the cap. (*Do not unscrew it!) It’s not super easy to pull the cap off. That’s a good thing. You do not want the marker to dry out or leak ink.(*If you unscrew the cap, you will be opening up the refillable inkwell to the marker, and on the underside of the marker you will find the wick that supplies the marker for writing. Take note, that is not a “defective” marker that has been assembled improperly. Screw the lid back on tightly and now pull the lid off instead to be able to write with the marker.)In short: These are really great markers! And super cost effective because they are meant to be refillable - so able to be kept and used far longer than most other brands (a concept that seems to be lost on many in our “use it once and throw it away” society of late apparently). Even if you never refill them they are a great product at a great price. But isn’t it nice to know you’ll have the option to decide if you want to throw them into a landfill someday OR instead take a few mins to learn how to refill them?

Nice!
I don't know how long these last yet, but I've been very happy with how easy they are to see from the back of the classroom! They're huge, like poster markers. I recommended them to all my colleagues! I can't wait to see how well they work after refilling them, but hopefully, it will be a while before I have to do that!

Nice markers
These large wedge tip markers are great when teaching a large classes as I often do. The red ones don’t erase very well, and they don’t smell weird enough to make me feel like I’m getting high by the end of class.

It ain't easy being green.
Black, red and blue are phenomenal. Green is useless. You are effectively paying for four pens, but you'll only use three. The green pen makes a faint line, whips line that no one can see - especially compared to the other markings you make with the three other colors. And before you say anything - I've bought these a couple of times and had the same experience. The big, wet, bold, easily cleaned lines the other pens make, are worth it.

Great for Teachers
The large tips immediately highlight whatever you want to emphasize on a whiteboard.

They aren't joke about JUMBO SIZE
Well my hands are small and these markers are real JUMBO lol my students laughs about it, because literaly my hands looks so tiny with this marker. But, I am glad at last to find this brand because has the refill option so I don't have any more to look another brands to ger my markers. I am a teacher and I use them everyday so is important to find a good brand and durability in this items. About the point, you can handle as you want.

Dried out useless marker
Right out of the box upon delivery at least one of the markers was dried out and useless. Also takes about 10lbs of pressure to get the caps off. Dont waste your money on this brand.

Pull Cap to Use - Twist Cap to Refill
These are great for dry-erase boards, since the thicker-than-average tip makes visible lines, whether you're viewing from 2 feet away or 10 feet away. First-time users may have difficulty opening the cap properly, since it's somewhat rigid. To open these markers: first, grasp the marker body, and then pull the cap away from the marker. To refill these markers: first, grab the marker body, and then unscrew the cap + plastic nib-holder together.Be sure to keep these markers re-filled when they start to look faded. To refill, firmly grasp the marker's colorful cap AND collar and twist it. This separates the tip from the marker body, and then refill ink from the manufacturer can be poured in.
