Better than Webers indirect pans
I used this for cooking brats and italian sausages on indirect heat. Works extremely well and I don't need to go to direct heat. Then for hamburgers I just remove the Vortex and have a perfect bed of coals. Great value, medium is perfect size for 22in kettle.

Great accessory for my weber and kamado
I've used it for chicken wings as advertised and it's been pretty good. not as good as my rotisserie basket but I clean-up is much easier with the Vortex. It's absolutely awesome for searing steaks and it's pretty good for beer can chicken.It does seem like I don't need as much charcoal when using the Vortex especially in my Kamado. It allows for better air flow and for some reason the meats I've smoked on my Kamado taste better. I assume it's because of the cleaner burn.It's pretty thick and feels like it will last a long time. I hope it does because it is not cheap.
