It's a nice jar. I don't even mind that the spigot is plastic, but the opening is too small. I could sail to India to buy leaves, sail home, desalinate water with a solar still in winter and make tea faster than I can pour a glass through the spigot.

You'd think finding a jar for making sun tea would be easy but it isn't.I bought this because I thought it had a good spout. It doesn't, the sprout is plastic. The metal of the lid is so flimsy I'll probably have to throw the thing away in a few months. I wish it had a better lid I would just replace the spout.My search for the perfect sun tea jar continues.Why is it so difficult to find a good sun tea jar?I'm disappointed. You put a better lid on this and a better spout on this and you have a good sun tea jar.

I used this exactly once. After it had been brought back to room temp, I went to wash it (not even super hot water, like barely even warm) it broke. Very poor quality. Do not recommend.

The seal around the spigot leaks. I’ve tried taking it off and putting it back on but it still leaks. I’m going to hot glue around the seal on the outside. That should fix the product. Other than that it’s a very nice jar and makes great Sun tea.
