Assembly required, but it turned out perfect, and it was inexpensive, too.
Lots of pieces to assemble, but I took my time and it turned out perfect. It all fits together very nicely. It was inexpensive at $35. The picture looked nice and it was a departure from the relatively plain looking medicine chests for sale. I took a chance and bought it.There are some wooden pegs that the instructions tell you to glue into their sockets. The instructions actually say that you are supposed to squeeze the included wood glue into the holes, then insert the pegs. The outside diameter of the glue tube nozzle is a tad bit too big to actually insert the tip of the glue tube into the peg holes. I recommend applying the glue to the pegs first. The hole of the glue tube tip is exactly large enough to insert the pegs into the glue tube. There doesn't need to be that much glue to firmly secure the peg in the hole, and if you apply too much glue, it will just squeeze out of the hole as you insert the peg and then you have to clean it up with a wet paper towel or whatever. So just take the peg and stick it into the glue tube nozzle, and that will apply a thin coat of glue to the peg. Insert the peg into the hole, and then glue the other end of the peg the same way, and then insert the other end into the other hole on the other piece you are joining together.I would have liked to be able to flip the door so that it opens the other way, but there are no holes on the other side of the cabinet, and neither is it something you can flip upside down. The door comes attached to the hinges. I actually had to remove the door while installing because I was putting it up myself and the door was making it difficult to secure the cabinet to the wall (one hand holding the cabinet to the wall and the other hand working the screwdriver).. Taking the door off is pretty easy, there are four tiny screws connecting the two hinges to the door. I was careful to not strip the holes. Then I screwed the cabinet into the wall. After that I re-installed the door. Those tiny screws are kind of annoying to deal with. Another set of hands to hold the door while I was putting the door back on would have made it much easier. Removing the door is not part of the instructions. I strongly recommend not messing with the door and hinges. The assembly instructions were perfect and simple. The packaging was efficient and all the pieces were easy to account for, with foam bits protecting the wooden pieces in a clever fashion. This product is relatively cheap, but the manufacturer is good, and I like the overall design of the item.

Pleasantly surprised and happy with purchase
I bought this to put on top of my bedroom dresser to help store and display my full-size perfume collection. I love the mirror on the door, and it helps keep my unboxed perfumes and oils way from the light. It was very simple to put together. There is a small tube of glue for the wood pegs, but do use it sparingly as I ran out for the last 3 or 4 wood pegs and had to use some old wood glue I happened to have lying around. The adjustable shelf inside feels a bit flimsy and does move around a bit, but seems to be perfectly sturdy once you put items on it. So not really a complaint there, just an observation.I was worried that I would have to anchor the cabinet to the wall somehow (I rent, and that ain't happening!), but I just put it as flush to the wall as possible, and have some double-sided foam sticky tape on the bottom front of the cabinet. Feels super sturdy and no need for me to anchor it to the wall, but do keep in kind that most of the bottom is actually lying on my dresser top, and only about a half inch is hanging over the back edge. So it being on a flat surface helps its stability, obviously. There is plently of room inside, and the bottom cubby holes are big enough to hold some of my bigger perfume boxes. The top of the cabinet is nice and wide for more storage.I am just very happy with this cabinet for the price. Even the back cover of the cabinet feels sturdy. It's more of a thin sheet of MDF instead of cardboard. Not easily bent. And it fits the space perfectly. One needs to be creative when renting small spaces, and this cabinet was the perfect solution for my needs.

Excellent product for the price.
I don’t write a lot of reviews but when I get a product that has mixed reviews and I really really like it, I like to tell people. I don’t know if there are multiple versions of this product, or they did a redesign, but the one I got was quite well-made. Of course, it’s pressed wood not real hardwood, but I paid $65 for it, not $300 or $400.I saw negative reviews that said the product was poorly packed, had doors that didn’t lineup, or fell apart after assembly, but mine had none of that. It arrived extremely well packed with Foam between every single piece to the point where I almost thought it was excessive. It did take probably a little over an hour to assemble, and was missing one of the packs of screws, but I had some screws that were equivalent to what was missing, so it wasn’t a big issue. Everything fit together and lined up well and the paint and finish were very attractive. The only other issue I saw was that the wooden dowels fit somewhat loosely in some of the holes, so I’m not sure how much stability they add, but using wood glue as well as the screws provided, it turned out very sturdy.Lastly, I think I saw a review that said the back was three pieces with plastic straps that connected it together. The one that I received was a one piece back and even had screws to hold it on versus some cabinets I have assembled in the past that had tiny tacks I had to hammer in which was a real turnoff. This one having screws was a bonus.Overall, for the price I paid and having it shipped to me, instead of having to go to the store, I am very satisfied and would recommend to anyone looking for an attractive, reasonably priced cabinet for their bathroom.
