Winsome Wood Claire Accent Table, Black

I own several pieces of Winsome furniture (as well as many other brands of 'self-assembled' furniture) but this little accent table is perhaps my favorite in terms of looks and quality. I purchased this for use as a nightstand in my bedroom and it's a perfect fit in that regard. The accent table is made entirely of wood with the exception of the drawer bottom. I nearly tossed the drawer bottom away thinking it was part of the packing materials - then had a mini-panic attack thinking I was going to have to pack everything up to ship back because of a missing part. So, just as an FYI, the drawer bottom is a piece of white colored cardboard type material with a laminate coating (don't throw it out!!) Although it would seem too flimsy for use as a drawer bottom, it's quite sturdy once assembled; though I wouldn't recommend using the drawer to store anything unusually heavy. The box was easy to carry into the house and up to the second floor on my own; and I'm a light weight. Assembly was also a breeze as I was able to put this together on my own in no time flat; though help from a second person would certainly be ideal. It would be helpful to have someone hold the legs upright while securing them to the table top, as well as someone to hold the second level shelf in place while it's being secured to the legs. All hardware comes included but you will need a Philips head screwdriver of your own since the turn key wrench only works for some of the enclosed hardware. The screw hole covers (little, wooden, rounded buttons/domes) add a nice subtle, decorative touch in the finished product. I did find a minor nick in the wood on the table top, but it's hardly visible and it's been my experience that a few defects are usually the norm when it comes to self assembled furniture. Overall; I'm very happy with my new nightstand. The price is right, the quality is what I would consider to be above average and it's a very nice looking and functional piece.

Got my table very fast..cute..perfect size for my space Total NIGHTMARE to put together 😂..took like an HOUR Screws too tight..couldn't use my power drill..nearly stripped the bits lol..had to hand crank tight with the janky Allen wrench it came with 😂.. but I suppose if its affordable and pretty it will have at least a reason its so affordable lol..don't buy if you have hand arthritis. You will never be able to put together. Four stars because it is very pretty and perfect size and color. Assembly should really make it 2 stars

The Winsome end table arrived quickly, in sturdy packaging, and was easy to assemble. The components were carefully packed and wrapped in protective paper. The set included all the parts listed and the directions were very simple and easy to follow. The end table is made of real, strong wood! The finish is beautiful and it feels like it will last a very long time. I am extremely impressed with the high quality, great look, and excellent function. The drawer works great and overall this is just a very well made, gorgeous piece of furniture. If you are looking for a good end table/night stand certainly pick this one, you will be impressed with the sturdy quality and beautiful appearance.

I got this as a temporary nightstand and I plan to use this as an end-table in the future. One thing you should know is that this is a very small piece. I checked the dimensions before ordering, but just putting that out there so people aren't surprised. A lot of the recent reviews were saying that their table arrived damaged. I bought this with the mentality that if the pieces were damaged I was just going to put this back in the box and return it. Fortunately, my table was in good condition upon arrival. My problems started with assembly. The instructions were easy enough to follow so that wasn't an issue. The holes however are smaller/narrower than they need to be with the screws. Using the L-tool that shipped with the table got to be WAY too much of a chore. I switched to using my electric tool and even that didn't make assembly easy. Sometimes I basically manually turned my electric tool -- and the grip was better so it was easier than using the provided tool. If I hadn't had my electric screwdriver tool I highly doubt I would have gotten the table put together at all. Some of the screws never tightened up -- they would just turn in place. There was also a bunch of sawdust on the floor at the end so I know the pre-drilled holes weren't big enough. The package included wood plugs to place over the screw holes. It's difficult to actually get them in -- I ended up using a hammer to get them further in but then the finish started coming off of the wood plugs. Perhaps a rubber mallet would have been better for that purpose. Also apparently their solution for keeping the drawer in is a wooden dowel placed in the middle of the front opening. Honestly that makes no sense and I can't even hammer that in because you can't put it in until you put the drawer in, but the drawer is too shallow to let a hammer help pound that in. And then that dowel sitting there seriously cuts down on how much you can put in the drawer and the drawer isn't even that deep to begin with. Also the bottom of the drawer is basically a piece of thick shiny white cardboard. That's not a big deal when the drawer is closed but a thin piece of non-finished plywood would have been an upgrade. It's not terribly sturdy but I'm not worried about it falling apart. I don't need to store a bunch of heavy stuff on it, plus I had so much trouble trying to put it together I highly doubt it could come apart if it wanted to. I could probably put some felt pads on the bottom to get it balanced.

Nice sized bed stand . Relatively sturdy. Nice finnish. Fairly good drawer. Nice design and easy to put together. I like the large alan screws and pre drilled recessed holes for then. Most is real wood only press board is in drawer frame but fairly good stuff. Gave 5 becuse of price. Orherwise a 4

I searched everywhere for the longest time trying to find the right size end table that was attractive, stable and at a decent price. I ordered two of these and am absolutely thrilled with the quality considering that they are not terribly expensive. Drawers are large enough to take remote controls and a few other odds and ends. Whole table is sturdy and colour shown (I purchased walnut although they do have other colours) is almost identical to the actual colour. Very easy to assemble except I stupidly used the wrong screws and put holes right through the top. Contacted the company, explained what I did and offered to pay for the replacement part. They emailed me back about a week later stating that the new top had been shipped and there would be no additional charge. Very nice of them & very generous; they obviously care about their customers. I highly recommend these tables for the quality and price.

Estas mesitas de noche son geniales. Me compré un par esperando no decepcionarme y fue una excelente compra. Armarlas fue sencillo, su instructivo es corto pero ilustrativo. El material se ve resistente, lo único que noté muy frágil es la base del cajón, todo lo demás es una excelente estructura. Llegó en perfecto estado, con todas sus piezas y bien empacado. Las recomiendo ampliamente :)
