Beautiful to look at and feel, both in terms of the board's surface as well as the "men" (checkers). My first board of this size, I think I did very well considering the reasonable cost of the product.Only complaint is that there were no extra dice or checkers included in case you loose one, but I am fairly sure you could contact the company if that happens.Great board for the money.ETA: A year and a half has gone by and I still love this board. It is my favorite. The color contrasts are spot on, it is sturdy, the checkers/men are smooth and solid (easy to move). I'm really not sure what more you would want from a Backgammon board unless you are into expensive collectibles with designer names, precious medals and jewels, etc.And ain't nothing wrong with that. But or the price of this board as it is currently listed, it is a good deal.

Quality of Board
General appearance of the board is okay. However, the handle is extremely poor. Day 1 when I took out of the box, I held it by its handle and it immediately broke off. See photos... Not good....

just what I wanted
i was looking for a blue back gammon board set for my husband to be as a gift from our 3 blue eyed girls.this fit the bill beautifully. nicely finished and met with my expectations. the price was great and truly, the look on my husband's face speaks louder than any words could ever say. i would highly recommend.
