Absolutely love this product. Have been using it for months now, and I won’t go without it. I easily reduces pimple size and has made a huge difference on my acne. If you’re considering it, DO IT. It’s worth the shot.

Woke up with a painful breakout on my cheek. I used Dr, Gross’s Blemish Solution. By the next morning it was barely noticeable and completely gone by the next day. Product a bit expensive but worth it once I saw such great results.

i like the packaging of the serum and when you get towards the bottom of it it’s almost as if when you pump it the serum is being suctioned out (the opposite of struggling to get the last bit of product out of the tube). i think it’s a good serum but i’m not sure if it justifies the price. it did make my skin purge (or maybe breakout but im going with purge because i had not broken out to salicylic acid before) which was different than most salicylic acids i’ve used before. overall it’s a good product, but i think my skin purging from it unexpectedly was a huge drawback for me when it came to ordering another bottle when i got low

I requested to try this product because I recently had a very large bump develop on the side of my nose, close to my eye. I don't believe I have had such a pimple like this develop since I was in my teens (and I am in my 50s now). It was under the skin & so painful & due to its location I didn't want to squeeze it. I did not have one product in my arsenal of skin care products to treat acne. The instructions on the 1 oz. tube indicated its use was "for the treatment and management of acne." The directions stated "cleanse skin thoroughly before applying, cover the entire affected area 1-2 times daily depending on severity." Warnings included, in part, "...avoid contact with eyes...when using this product, skin irritation & dryness is more likely to occur if you are using another topical acne medication..." The active ingredient is salicylic acid 2.0%. My skin is normal to dry & very sensitive to certain products and not having used an acne medication for years, I wondered how my skin would react. I followed the instructions and applied a tiny amount of the gel (picture of what gel looks like included in this review). I decided to only use it once daily. After my 2nd application, I was seeing results on the 3rd day. It made my skin over the pimple very dry however my pimple was shrinking in size & began to have what looked to be a whitish area in the center. I gently squeezed out a tiny amount of the contents of it. When I applied an application after it had opened, it did burn a little but that sensation didn't last. After a total of 4 applications, I saw that it was drying up nicely. After several days I used tweezers & gently lifted the dry skin off the area & started using hydrating serums & moisturizers to get my skin back to its usual baseline condition. Would I recommend this product? Absolutely. But I would advise caution if you wear make-up because it does dry the area very well but application of make-up will not be attractive over dry peeling skin. This tube of acne medication is now a staple in my collection of skin care products and will last me a long time.

This arrives in a nice box. In the box is a thick cardboard that fortifies the exterior. Now, take out the tube and you will find a really sturdy cap. This all matters since every one of these elements is going to ensure a flawless delivery to your home. So nice!Use the pump to distribute a small amount into your palm or on the back of your hand. Now, I'm going to be honest with you: this does not smell great. However, what I do like it how easily this applies and how it turns invisible. Moreover, want to know what I love about this product? It works! It genuinely works. I would say that this cuts down the time of a blemish to over half. And, it doesn't dry out my skin. Very cool!I may not be crazy about the fragrance, but there is no doubt that this genuinely works. Buy this without hesitation! Very highly recommended!

I’m generally a huge fan of Dr Dennis Gross products and use quite a lot of them frequently. So when I came across this blemish solutions acne eliminating gel in the middle of a breakout I was super excited! I have tried this for the last 3 weeks on both single pimples and major breakouts and I’m unfortunately not very impressed.The consistency is a lighter weight gel and it does go on easily and you don’t need a lot to cover even al larger area breakout, which is good since this is a tiny tube! It’s pump style dispenser which I do like. It also dries down quickly which I appreciate. Unfortunately I have not seen any pluses to using this stuff. First it obviously dries out your skin, I mean it’s a targeted acne treatment so that’s a given. But it didn’t help cut back on my breakouts, nor did it make them disappear quicker than usual. And while I don’t mind paying a premium price for a product that works, for what this is and how well it performs, it’s way overpriced. So unfortunately I would have to say skip this particular product from the brand. But definitely try some others out since they generally have some really good products, just not this particular one!

I wanted to use this cream as a spot treatment for troubled acne areas. I don't suffer too much acne if I'm honest, but every so often I will get a pimple. I would apply this cream directly to the area, and noticed a difference in how quickly the pimple was able to heal. It tends to dry the skin out quite a bit, but it certainly accelerated the healing process. I would say, that it probably alleviates the trouble area much much faster then any product that I've tried before. I was fairly impressed with how well and effective it works. That being said, if you are someone who tends to have very dry skin, I suspect that this might cause a smidge of irritation. I couldn't tell you that for sure, but it's just a guess because my skin tends to be a little oily, and it did dry me out. I certainly like using it, because it works. All in all if you're looking for a spot treatment, then this is certainly a good cream to try.
