This entire series should be recalled, and the only reason it hasn't is the lack of competition. It has a shocking amount of errors. The entire test is useless and full of wrong answers. If I were reading this review I would assume I was exaggerating, but I assure you I am not. I mean 2/3 of the answers in the test are wrong- in the test they themselves wrote! Something didn't line up right and the answers and explanations are to the wrong questions and it was never fixed before it went to print. The entire book itself was also useless and did not contain the information that's on the test. The actual test is situational, a "what would you do?"/use your judgment type test.

I used this book solely for the practice questions. I took advice from one reviewer and focused only on the ones in the back with the explanation of answers (because apparently there are errors in the section without the answers). It was really helpful and there are over 100 practice questions. I've bought from this company before, and although they're not great, there aren't other study materials available except the easy 30 question study guide from the ILTS website. The questions really helped me, which is what I think is most important in a study guide. I can't speak about the information/reading throughout the book because I didn't read it.

I was very upset with this book. There were a lot of grammar mistakes, many pages were repeated with the same information, some of the practice exam questions didn't have the right answers. The practice questions were not even questions from the book. This book was not helpful at all. Very upset.

I was reluctant to purchase this book because of the negative reviews. However after buying the book, studying it and taking the test, I am pleased to say that the book was quite beneficial in providing pertinent information that helped me to pass the test. The book lists each of the test objectives and provides literature on those objectives. Then there are questions specific to each objective. Yes there are numerous typographical errors but they do not interrupt the flow of reading. I was able to mentally correct the errors and continue to read with no interruption in learning.Earlier, I purchased a different book to help me prepare for the same test and the other book was totally useless.Also the cover of my book is different from the one shown here, but the title is the same.

i read many negative reviews about this book, but with limited choice i decided to order it anyway. This is how I studied: read the whole book while highlighting and searching the net for clarifications and more detailed info, and did the practice questiones at the end of the book. I think the practice questiones were more helpful. there are also slides with questions on slideshare ... just google lbs1 slides. btw. i passed.

I passed the test. What else can I say. It works!

This book has so many errors in it, it is practically unusable. Don't waste your money, because you will be returning it like I am.

I was not impressed with this study book. It's answer key and practice test have conflicting answers and lots of errors. Will be returning!
