Solid construction good enough for a yacht.
Got a pair of these for my 14 ft john boat. Longer than expected. Chrome exterior is well made and good quality, heavy duty. Led light can be seen from a wide angles and visible for a least a mile, perfect for side mounting which I did. They look good enough for a yacht, so outclass my little jon boat. Love them!

One already failed. There is moisture in the lens. If they were sealed, they would be great. They are bright. Just wished they sealed with epoxy

High Quality - Despite Other Five Ocean Products that are not that great
I've had boats, rebuilt boats, built boats from scratch for 50-years.The goal of every boat owner is to try to save some money (avoid wasting less). Five Ocean products I have bought in the past failed early, or worse, were crappy out of the box. These bow, nav lights however are really excellent! They are made from a very high quality stainless, probably 316 (instead of 304). I took the lamp assembly out thinking it would need to be extra-sealed and surprise, surprise, it was already factory sealed. Even the wires were sealed coming out of the fixture. Nice gasket too, not cheap foam, real rubber.Nice going Five Oceans!

fit great! quality ok.
These fit perfectly in the spot where the old incandescent perkos were. gage wire is VERY small and not really crimpable. it doesn't need to be bigger with the low amp draw, but it's difficult to connect to the existing wire. i wound up soldering and covering with heatshrink tubing. also the waterproofing on the inside side could be better. i'd expect to see the boards potted in epoxy. i hosed it liberally with corrosion x and we will see how it lasts

Looks great
These lights really do look great in the boat. These replaced some lights in a key west sportsman boat.The holes lined up perfect, the overall lense size was extremely close to the original lighting. Very happy with these so far. Also they areQuite bright for what they are

Awasome looking navigation lights. Put them on my skeeter bay. They are extremely bright. Had to grit my teeth and cut holes in my boat but it was well worth it. You will need about a 2”x 3” hole cut out to install these.
