Playtime Piano Classics - Level 1

good resource for older beginners!
I have wanted to learn how to play the piano since I was a kid and I’m finally getting the chance to as a college student. it’s an accelerated course, so we have made it through what I think is the equivalent level of PreTime and are now in the PlayTime level, working on songs with fingers mostly staying in the same place. we use an online piano teaching software in class but I wanted some physical sheet music to practice by myself. I got the Classics books in both the PlayTime and ShowTime (Level 1 and Level 2A). I’m not quite ready for Level 2A, but I can tell both books are going to be great resources for me! so far the Level 1 book is straightforward and it doesn’t feel intimidating to play. looking forward to trying to learn more of the songs out of this book and the next!

Nice, easy beginner book.
A really good book with great classics for a truly beginner. Sometimes I came across with 'beginner' books than to me are more beginner-intermediate rather than just 'beginner'. This one truly is. Even my piano teacher started recommending it to its other pupils.

MYC Teacher recommended... Great choice!
Excellent book, I was concerned about the skill level being appropriate for my little one. She in the music for young children program (MYC) and is 6 years old. The book was recommended by her teacher to keep her skills sharp over the summer. Perfect for these purposes. The songs in the book are excellent as well. After we practiced a song, we would find the same song on youtube and listen to it there. My kids loved hearing the similarities, (though their version is greatly simplified).

Buon metodo!
Ottimi spunti per parlare un po di storia anche ai piu piccoli. Belle melodie, ritmi chiari.. La mano sinistra lavora un po poco
