Easy to install
The old one that came with the house back in 1970 something handle broke. This one was easy to install, with a little know-how, of course. Looks sleek, fit perfect, works like a charm. Reasonably priced.

Simple Quality
The faucet came nicely packaged and damage free. The bonus was that it came early. I looked around for this item at home improvement centers and elsewhere and found the best buy here at Amazon. The finish is very nice and Moen quality is well known. The installation was simple and straightforward with complete instructions included. The connectors are built in and ready to go.For my installation I needed to purchase additional adapters to connect to 1/2" pipe threads. The cost for these is minimal and if you are a do- it- yourself person like me the man at your local hardware store will fix you up. If you have shut off valves under your sink this installation should be a simple screw on directly on to the valve. This has been installed for about 30 days now and works smoothly, and is leak free!

Faucet
I was too lazy to buy the same from Home Depot. Basic faucet, works as it should and was delivered to the house. Does it get any better? I dare say that it doesn’t.If you’re expecting a fancy faucet with blinking lights, auto on and auto off, a stretchy sprayer function or any other craziness, this ain’t it.It’s a no nonsense faucet that screams that it is a plain old faucet. The work horse for washing hands, filling cups and glasses, washing things in the sink and many other monotonous activities that homeowners bring to it.

Good faucet, inconsistent packaging
The faucet itself seems very nice and feels much better in operation than the iffy Delta models that we had to replace after a few years. Installation is straightforward. We bought two of them, on separate occasions. Our only complaint is that both were missing the rubber O-ring that goes at the base of the spout. Without that there’s an unsealed gap that would allow water to leak down under the baseplate. The missing element is Moen part number is 146789, spout O-ring kit (the kit has two rings, though only one is needed). The missing ring is rubber, about 1 5/8 inch outer diameter and 1 3/8” inner diameter (i.e., rubber is about 1/8”). It’s shown in the picture.

Works well.
Needed to replace a 10 year old similarly designed faucet that would no longer swivel. Plumber installed this faucet without a problem. Works well. Looks to be well made, so hopefully will last a long time.

Installation was a breeze and I really like the way Moen did this
I replaced a 5-7 year old Delta with this Moen 7425. Installation was a breeze and I really like the way Moen did this. The faucet extends down 6-8" with a threaded pipe and inside that pipe are the hoses. To mount the faucet put down your gasket and base plate. Drop the faucet into the hole in the base plate. Moen gives you a large flat washer and a large flat nut with three threaded holes in it , equally spaced. Slide the washer up onto the threaded pipe and the screw the flat nut onto the threaded pipe. Moen also gives you three Phillips head screws to screw into the flat nut. Put the screws into the nut prior to screwing the nut onto the threaded pipe. I just screwed the nut hand tight to the bottom of the sink (washer). Moen says leave a half inch space. I'll probably regret not doing that in a few years. Next tighten the three screws and it will pull the faucet down tight onto the sink. I really like this attachment method better than tightening those plastic wing nuts onto the plastic extensions that go into the faucet holes. I could never get them tight enough.I noticed that the water pressure seemed to be less than the Delta I removed. So I replaced the Moen aerator with the aerator from the Delta and BINGO, all is good.I haven't had this faucet a day yet so I can't offer longevity/reliability experience. I operation of the handle will take a little getting used to. It doesn't move quite like the Delta but I'm sure I'll adjust.

Defective product delivered/Zero customer support
The media could not be loaded. I was sent a faucet that had the valve installed backwards at the their factory (according to Moen customer service). Moen customer service only gave me instructions on how to fix it and a discount coupon to buy another faucet. Well, I had just paid a plumber $150 to install this one and the last thing I want to do is to buy another faucet and pay the plumber an additional $150 so I can correct their manufacturing defect. This is the second Moen faucet I have purchased in 3 years for this sink and both have been bad. Shame on me for buying a second time…Not a good company.

Quality Chrome Faucet
I have now purchased (for rentals) 3 Moen Chateau style kitchen faucets and this one, as the others, is an excellent quality faucet. The oldest (5 years old) is still working like new and it even still looks brand new. Very easy to keep clean (No Abrasives!). These are all metal faucets with a very good quality chrome finish. I highly recommend these faucets for their beauty, longevity and reasonable price.FYI: This faucet comes with the hoses attached with 3/8" female connectors for your angle shut-off valves.Note: I am using these faucets to replace our over 20 year old aging Moen 2-handle faucets. I think it will take another 10 years to replace the remaining old Moen faucets because they just last so long.
