Best dad to be gift
I give this to every expectant dad I know. My husband loved this book and appreciated that it helped explain to him what mama was experiencing, but also how to connect with the baby in utero, how to support mama throughout, and how to support himself. He really appreciated how it was empowering and made him feel not so alone throughout the pregnancy. Huge fan. 10/10

Helpful and reassuring guide for new dads
The Expectant Father is a solid resource for anyone stepping into fatherhood for the first time. It breaks down what’s happening during pregnancy, offers practical advice on supporting your partner, and covers the emotional and logistical changes you’ll experience along the way. It’s easy to read without being too overwhelming, and while not every chapter will feel personally applicable, there’s enough good information and real-world tips to make it worth keeping on your shelf. A decent companion to prenatal books for moms — especially if you want a better sense of what to expect as a dad-to-be.

If there was one book that could get you ready to be a first time dad, or brush up for your next kid then this is it! Don’t buy any other book, just read this and do what it says and you will thrive as a father.

A comprehensive guide into the unknown
The expectant father was recommended to me by a friend and I'm grateful for the recommendation. The book covers a wide range of topics and helpful notes for going through a pregnancy, it goes through each month and what to expect for you, your wife or partner and your baby. I'll be recommending this book to any friend who is an expectant father in the future.

Contenido caduco

Informative
I liked the book and it was good to read along each month as my wife's pregnancy matured. It gave a lot of helpful tips on what to expect, and it also informed me on a lot of things I didn't know. It helped my wife too, having a more understanding husband who was better informed. That being said, I'm not American, I have never been to the US. I had to skip a lot of pages about health care providers, insurance, and American centric information. It's not a negative reflection on the book, rather that maybe other readers in the rest of the world might find parts of this book skippable. Or search out a book more appropriate for your own country.

Disappointing read
- Book is written from an American point of view - The author tends to give certain “medical advice” at times which might be inappropriate for many - Sometimes I find the author to be a bit negative - Shameless self marketing of other books written by the author - By the time I finished reading this, I found better resources
